I appreciate the replies. What you guys say makes sense. I guess I will look for reasonable trades but just make my own and go by those for the most part.

I feel like Wally was the better rival but we really didn’t see much from him. Neither rivals really mattered to me.

*sigh* yes I got the required coins for a Porygon way back in the day. I think I played the games to get close and bought the rest cause I was getting tired. That was a along time ago. I’m an adult now and don’t have the time I used to to spend in the game corner.

Before the original Red and Blue came out. I had a subscription to Nintendo Power back then and they started having monthly inserts dedicated to Pokémon. It had game information, walkthroughs, explained the concept and idea about Pokémon and even had a comic based on the anime. Was sold ever...

So I’m playing Emerald for the first time and I’m in the Tera Cave to catch Groudon. I feel like my Pokémon aren’t at a high enough level but when I leave the cave it disappears. Does it reappear at all or am I pretty much pooched if I leave and don’t catch him?

I like to use a full team cause I like to have all my basis covered. HM’s, being able to take on any type of Pokémon. But I suppose limiting your party can make for an interesting challenge cause you have less to work wth when doing that.

I’ve really only seen Indigo (and currently re-watching it) but I’m sure hoping he gains some competence. He’s a fun character but he’s a bit of an idiot most times. :)

To be honest I haven’t seen past Indigo League. I’m watching it now on Netflix. I just like it cause it’s silly. Not a whole lot depth, I don’t take the show too seriously. It has some funny moments I enjoy. My expectations are low :)

I like the Pokémon that are pretty much animals or monsters. Ones that resemble inanimate objects really bug me. So you know, Voltorb, Electrode, Magnemite, Magneton etc.
