I have a simple question, and I apologize in advance if the answer is posted elsewhere. I want to play through Glazed with a Mienshao on my team, but I want it to be fighting/fairy. Is there a program I can use to edit its typing?

The trainer before Rock Tunnel with the Pikachu and the Clefair glitches on my game. After Pikachu faints, an outline of his sprite remains behind Clefairy after the latter enters battle. I'm updating to 441 now, but I didn't see this reported in the previous edition so idk.

I followed all of the instructions I could find to patch the game and when I walk out of my home, I'm trapped in an infinite tree nightmare. I've made sure I didn't make any mistakes in the process. Any help?
