  • Sorry to say, you've been booted from Paths of Mystery RP for inactivity. Marina will take your place as the trainer (a different trainer) who finds Silver and Flurry. If you still wish to post in PoM RP, You will have to sign up again and have a different purpose, because your place has been taken...
You can travel to Nashville if you want. There might be only one or two Pokemon differences though.
Okay seriously, please... Marina and I are waiting for you to post in Paths of Mystery... We have nothing to post until you do, and we really want this story to keep going... >.<
Instead of making the opponents' levels higher, I often try to make it more challenging by instead keeping my own levels lower.

On the one hand, I don't really think it should be allowed, because it is still hacking. But on the other hand, you're hacking to make the game harder, whereas the 'no hacking' rule was implemented to prevent just the opposite. So I think it should be fine. ^_^
Hello, I was wondering if you ever used your AIM? Also, I love your ambition on challenges and would love to help with Alpha Fan.
I don't use any RCs till I fight Red in GSC and before the E4 in the other games. I get about 5-6 in GSC, like 7-8 in RBY I think, 10-12 in RSE and 14-15 in DPPt.
Well, maybe just ramp everything from Mahogony Town up 5 levels or something...

Interesting idea, though. I wish that someone would basically use the HG/SS levels for GSC, since HG/SS can be tough to handle Kanto and Red, especially. An E4 ramping up after you go to Kanto (or defeat Blue) would be nice, too. It's something else to do. For me, Kanto takes like an hour it seems, since the levels or the gyms are a joke, and Red only takes L60-65 Pokemon to beat him, rather than L70s like in HG/SS. Plus I use Rare Candies at the end :)

    I would do it.
So, I have to tell you: there's actually three gym leaders for Tennessee - all brothers (like the three in Black and White), and you'll be battling the one brother that is usually never seen... can you guess who he is? He started his journey early, and your character knows him.
There's one in every state. You need eight to qualify to enter the Elite League, but you're free to get more. And you get money with each match you win.
lol. it's all about getting the settings right (as well as the correct version of VBA). I don't trade that much, though. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I have two gameboy colors, plus a GBA. So I'd be set. The only thing is that if I did it that way, IDK if I could record. I don't have a camcorder or anything. I have a webcam, but it's attached to the computer. (I use a laptop)
Hmm, so with no trading, we wouldn't be allowed to use the strategy of having each person catch certain pokemon, then just trading them all to one game?

I think I'll be able to abide by those rules. I think I can record off the VBA. We should make sure that emulators are allowed, though. It'd be terrible if we actually did pull it off, but it wasn't counted because we technically weren't following a rule. :/
I just use it for trading purposes - the sav files are interchangable - then go back to VBA.
you can get Steelix, dude. Trade for Onix in Violet, then use TGB Dual (or hack the change) to trade him into a Steelix once you get the Metal Coat on the SS Aqua (Thief on the Magnemite works as well). Complicated, yes - easy, yes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dnq9rMqJhfo (look at the description, it helps)
I knew about it, but I just wanted some clarification on what exactly it was. :D

I'm definitely interested, and you can already count me in no matter what. How exactly does the timing work? (As in, the fastest person out of our group submits their time, or all of us combined? Plus, we probably have to complete the Pokedex too, right?)
There's only one gym in Tennessee, and no, you don't teleport to New York.
