Your average Onix that's "weaker" then a Ponyta would mash a rifleman to a pulp if he tried to battle it one on-one. Rock types, Steel Types, and a select other Pokemon such as ghosts in general would laugh at firearms as their bullets harmlessly glanced off their armor/phased through their...
The Mew myth was actually directly disproven in Generation IV, though not in the way one would think. The fact that Regigigas crafted the Regi trio out of inanimate material proved that not every Pokémon is genetically traceable back to Mew (that is unless, Regigigas's entry itself is a myth)...
...Eh? Four years passed already? I guess that makes me more then an old duck then, an old duck that hasn't posted in over a year yes, but a vet all the same. Guess that means I should embrace everything and request a veteran emblem, as well as done a walking stick and beard.
"Darn kids. Get...
In the nine years Pokécommunity has stayed alive, dozens of other Pokémon communities lived, and died. But that matters not, for being around for near a century is pretty...hot?
Heh, Pardon my lateness.
Base stats don't variate between individuals. Every human (with some very select exceptions as in alternate forme differences) would have the same BST, just different IVs similar to a person's real life traits compared to others, and EVs. For example, a person who exercised a large amount would...
Articuno is the only Pokémon that can truly make use of Sheer Cold. With Mind Reader, Sheer Cold becomes a 2-turn set up of death against anything that can't KO it in-game, though it's easily predictable when fighting against another person, even if there's always a chance the Sheer Cold will...
I was under the same impression too, also adding in Orre as part of the U.S. Regions are likely closer to providences or states in concept, at least that's what I think.
What? I still have posts not buried on the tenth page!?
Heh, glad to say that yep, I am in fact still around to champion the cause of Porygon (mainly on other communities), though I'm about as active as a Snorlax on narcotics.
Hmmm...
Why do Pokemon not die in the games? Are Pokemon trained never to use more force than necessary to knock out? Does that apply to a level 100 legendary using Hyper Beam on a level 2 Bidoof?
While I want to shout game mechanics, I generally believe that within Pokémon battles...
Special Attack seems to be influenced by a number of things, but is mainly derived by mental capabilities, such as Mewtwo and Alakazam, along with some physical characteristics like the strength of muscles used to eject water in water types, and the energy storage capacity of electric types.
HP...
As you say, Black and White is more of a set of half and half. In other words, there's lots of complex, flashy pokémon out there such as Haxorus and Emboar, but there's also more traditional, simpler designs such as Minccino and Solosis to balance those out.
Porygon2 is everything you want in a Pokémon. Perfectly balanced stats, modest yet potent movepool, the potential to boost itself to legendary proportions of power if needed, and not even fully evolved. The perfect choice for something you'd want to spend an entire journey with.
Raticate sort of resembles a gerbil, Deoxys, Staryu, and Elgyem are all forms of extraterrestrial life, and Porygon is a computer program, while Rotom is based off a character who is a computer program.
Anyways, I think that one thing that's seriously lacking in the Pokémon world is wheels. Out...
On the bottom floor of Challanger's Cave, just when you thought that you saw the last of him, you bump into a figure, shrouded by the darkness.
"Good! Thanks for coming to lose to me!"
