Name: NuOmicronMu
Where do you live?: The wonderfully peaceful Verdanturf Town
Who are your two friends?: Tropius and Torkoal
The third generation Pokemon designs have often been subject to critcism, due to being of "lower quality" than the generation that came before. What is your opinion on...
All of the 5th gen starters are on my hate list. Fire/Fighting is such an overdone typing, Oshawott's design is boring and its final evolution is a total non-sequitur, and Snivy's just all around 'meh'.
Druddigon and Kyurem are also pretty hard to like, since they have the most horrendous...
If you could take your partner Pokemon anywhere, where would it be and why?
I'd probably take him to the river. It's pretty peaceful, and there's plenty of mud and stuff for him to enjoy.
Grass: Sewaddle l It’s just so cute.
Fire: Torkoal | I love the idea behind having a defensive fire-type, even if it doesn’t work in practice.
Water: Corsola | Unbelievably adorable.
Flying: Skarmory |One of the only flying-types that I like, most likely due to its steel-typing.
Normal: Snorlax...
I only ever use Pokemon that I want to have at the Elite Four, but I also tend to keep my catches spaced out. I almost always have my full team of six before beating the seventh gym, with the exception of a Corsola in Ever Grande City in Emerald.
Name- NuOmicronMu
Partner Pokemon (only one)- Stunfisk
Why do you want to join?- I love the way that ground type Pokemon (typically) work: High HP and physical stats, at the cost of special stats and speed. I've never really prized speed, as I find it much more important to be able to take hits...
I’d say there’d be a fairly wide range of Pokémon around where I live.
Since I live in an ex-sword making village which borders an ex-iron mining town, there would probably be a couple of steel-types, most likely Pawniard and Aron.
With the rivers and the ridiculous amount of rain, there’d be...
I'm not a fan of legendary Pokemon anyway, but the worst one in my opinion is Kyurem. It has a horrible typing, lower stats than its two counterparts, and I think it looks terrible.
I think this generation was pretty good, but there are, in my mind, a couple of problems.
First of all, B/W seemed so much more linear. As soon as you got the town map, you knew the route you would be taking for the rest of the story. I understand that, in previous games, there is usually only...
My favourites are: Surskit's family, Manectric, Crawdaunt and Glalie
I don't care that Surskit is ridiculously rare and Masquerain is useless in battle; they're just so adorable.
Manectric has a simple design, is a good electric type, making it all around awesome.
Crawdaunt remains a...
On my first playthrough, Burgh was the only gym leader to take more than two or three tries. Not only because I didn't want to raise a Darumaka due to its annoying hustle ability (although I raised one this time and found Darmanitan to be worth it), but all of my Pokemon were weak to his...
