I don't think this is inherently a bad idea. Something you have > something you know if you're going to have a single auth method, in my opinion. Of course, requiring both is even more secure. Personally, I'm waiting on a pair of yubikeys I ordered to arrive to start using them wherever I can.

It is also worth noting that there's a small bug regarding passwords, or at least there was one some time ago. It would give a wrong password message but if you tried 2 or 3 more times it would let you in. Very weird, but it happened to me and some other users!

You do have to create a new password for Showdown, haven't you done so before? If not, I'm afraid your username is already taken and will have to come up with a new nickname.

That's a bug some other users have experienced before, including me. You should just try a few more times until it recognizes the password. :)

Yeah, I've been doing mostly web dev and some programming in c for personal projects and some Python and Java for school as well.

It's made debugging so much easier since I started using it, love it too. What code editor do you all use? I moved from sublime to VSCode not that long ago and I'm really enjoying it so far. Having git right there saves me so much time.
