no clue there, it is just in the game guide. not sure how they got it but I do hold it fairly creditable in comparison to "I found it on the internet" also you get a bonus for having unique guys, so having two of the same guy causes you to lose some points.

there was a special event in hawaii and probably a few other places which gave away surfing pikachus. you can tell if it is hacked or not by the type of pokeball it has. alot of event pokemon (such as this one) have a special pokeball you can't normally get ingame.

you can actually, the nintendo power ultimate guide provides locations of pokemon in the palpark, the score they give you, and how hard they are to find. of course they are just given with 6 different rankings rather than actual numbers. score: S, A, B, C, D, E rarity: VR, R, F, S, M, VM]...

I have all of them, fully evolved and all at least lvl 60. :\ the hardest ones are the Johto ones since you got to beat the whole game of Colosseum to trade em over. but if you are trying to get a ho-oh it is all part of the master plan anyway.
