Mine was Meganium in Gold. I was pretty bummed out with the battery died. Before it was over, I had logged 200+ hours on that game. Now I have a Charizard who has been with me since Leaf Green (he has made the journey all the way to Black), and he is at 98, just 2 levels away!

Flareon. Poor Flareon was cursed with physically oriented stats and VERY few physically oriented moves, so I never use him on my main team. I love his appearance though. I also used Empoleon religiously in D/P/Pt considering my weird obsession with penguins, but since then I have grown too...

I was grinding the elite 4 and the sleepy girl's Musharna out-sped my level 98 Charizard somehow (even though Musharna's base speed is like... 30 or something). Gamefreak uses hax.
