Actually, it's not just 'some' players. I've noticed quite a few people don't want to play a game that has fakemon in it. I've also noticed quite a few people who don't like 721 games. I myself am going for about 250, which is a lot all things considered, but only has a handful of fakemon in it...

If anything, I'd personally be frustrated at version differences in a fangame unless there would be a way to trade between the two, because then there'd be no completing the PokeDex. I suppose using the two game version you could alter the PokeDex to only have the version specific ones.

I would imagine that since you'd have to have two separate games for two separate versions, you'd just change the encounter data for the maps you want to have different pokemon.

Mmm, maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like you might have the Add Pokemon script wrong? You've got "pbAddPokemon(PBSpecies::CHESPIN,5)" but I thought it was " pbAddPokemon(:CHESPIN,5)" I don't know why it would give you an invalid Species error, but anything is worth trying, right?

Well your first step would be learning how to convert sprites to RPGMXP format. Which is typically as simple as opening up one of the ones in the Graphics folder, bumping your new sprite up by 200%, and putting the new sprite over the old one.
