Before you rush into things, make sure everything is safe. It will help to be sure his parents are not there, and try to bring a male with you for safety reasons. Also keep an eye out for the purse, for if you find it, it will be more than enough proof for you to demand your money back.

Alright, I wish you good luck with getting your DS back. If being assisted from his helper fails, tell me and we can try and think of something else. Now, this might sound a little creepy, but if you can have easy access to a sound recorder, it is going to be wise to put it in your purse when you try to get your DS back. Anything they say can be used as evidence. It might also be helpful to go with an adult there if you go to his house. If not your parents, I am sure some member of your family will be glad to help.

And even if chances are they are going to be dismissive, you probably won't lose anything from telling your parents. If there is even one chance in a million that they will help, there is nothing wrong with trying.

Ah, that kind of helper. I figured you meant the kind of helper that will always assist a person with special needs. If his helper is helpful, you can still do the job. If that is not the case, you can threaten his parents with legal action, and if they question your sources just reply that you are going to settle it at the court. Chances are you won't be actually able to pursue legal action, but once you have tried everything else, there is nothing wrong with giving mind games a shot. If you haven't done so yet, tell your parents. His idiotic parents are probably going to dismiss you, but it is much more difficult to ignore an adult.

You can always use a set of gloves and a mask, like the ones doctors use. No matter how bad his room is, using those you can search it safely, and since a DS is pretty expensive, it is definitely worth it.

Since he has a helper, it is obvious that he is insane, and not just a jerk breaking the law for personal gain. Thus, his parents are probably not going to have any problem with you reclaiming your property, and they might be quite helpful.

Are the creep's parents aware of his ways? If they are, there is unfortunately practically nothing you can do. But if they are not, you can get him into real trouble. Tell them what he has done, and request a chance to prove it. If they are nice people, they will obviously give you that chance. Go to his room, find your DS, turn it on and show them the settings. Do everything in front of them so they can know you did not change anything. To a sensible person, a simple glance of your name as the character's name at whatever game was in the DS when it was stolen will be enough.

I give up. Nothing can top a week full of tests at horribleness. And the teacher phoned your mother? What a complete jerk, I hate that attitude teachers have, thinking their lesson is the only thing in the world that matters. I remember my math teacher giving people a hard time for not doing their homework. That stopped when I stopped bringing my homework in, since with me being her favorite student, she wouldn't ever give me a hard time, and people can now use "He didn't either" as an excuse for not doing their homework.

Shame you lost your jacket, any ideas on who might have stolen the DS? If you manage to figure that out and get proof, your parents can sue the guy, and you can end up getting over ten times the price of the DS.

Well, you might reconsider the proposition that I am lucky when I inform you that last week we had a History and a Biology test on the SAME DAY. But I have to agree, tests in Music are ridiculous.
About the DS, did you try one of those machines that detect cables on the walls for safe piercing? They detect electricity flowing through them, and I believe the DS' internal battery would trigger it. You can get one of those pretty cheap at electronic stores, and by using it through your whole house you can easily find the DS.

The class isn't actually that big, there are 20 students, however, the place is back at the end of the class and next to a wall. If I play under the desk, the people in front of me will fully conceal it.
It's impressive how you have tests for art, while here we have an idiot who keeps mumbling about his life and letting us randomly draw on papers. Seems like teachers there are much more responsible.
And yesterday, I didn't go to school because I didn't want to. I pretended to be sick so I could stay at home, which was very convenient since I can't stand school. Fortunately tomorrow the teachers are going to have a council for some random reason, so we are going to leave after the 5th hour. But what I am really looking forward to, is Friday. That's the release date for Black and White here, and since I have preordered them I get them immidiently. Plus the school is closed on Monday, so I get a 3-day weekend to play.

Sure then, let's do it. Anyway, I just got back from school, and as I expected, it was incredibly boring. I can't stand this, 7 full hours of nonsense every single day. Fortunately, I had the great idea of changing my seat, and now I am at a pretty safe place. And by safe, I mean I can play on my DS without my teachers noticing. How was your day?
