  • "Kids shows"! How dare ye :pink_tongue:

My boyfriend and I watch silly anime before we go to sleep. It drives nightmares away (that's what I've convinced myself of anyway).
You, too! Teaching will definitely be fun in any case :pink_nod:

Do you watch anime, cartoons, TV?
Yeah, here you need a Masters to teach at university part-time and a Ph.D for full-time professors.

I want to teach secondary school students or grades 7/8. Something between ages 12 and 17 anyway.
I'm going to write on the side :pink_tongue: I wrote a novel and a chapter book as a kid, but being 13ish the form isn't the greatest so I never sought publication.

What would you want to teach?
Changing majors seems to be really common :pink_tongue: I like my field, though. I'm in Honours Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Geography (French Immersion) with an Advanced Minor in French as a Second Language. I have high proficiency in French so I skipped most classes. The "Advanced Minor" signifies that I have the same level as someone who would've completed a Major in French, but that I got to skip half the classes :pink_nod:

    I want to teach French!
Neat ☺ How old will you be when you finish school completely then?

I started quite a bit late. A lot of my friends are already done university! Normally you enter at age 18 and are done by 22. I started at 22 and will be enrolled till I'm 26 + 2yrs extra for my Bachelor of Education.
Oh xD I wouldn't know. Here in Canada, we have colleges - technical applications, sometimes requiring a university degree - and universities - theoretical applications.

Vet technicians go to college. Veterinarians go to university. Doctors and teachers go to university. Electricians and plumbers go to college.

    Mechanical vs. Theoretical.

I applied to one university and got in, but that's probably because of my 95.2% average :pink_tongue: They'd be foolish not to take me!

Do you plan on going to a different school after community college?
oo~ What kind of requirements are there?

One class in my university had 220 students to one teacher. That teacher had two or three TAs, though. Other classes are 20:1.
Absol is so cute ♥ same with Zigzagoon and a few others.

How is community college different from mainsteam college? I've heard it mentioned on Big Bang Theory, but I don't know what it is :pink_stream: We don't have that in Canada.
I play X exclusively nowadays. I've completed the DEX and breed Pokémon :pink_nod: I didn't find ORAS to be that great. I love May's sprite, and I was pretty hyped since I never finished a Gen III game (was too dull to me), but that dullness carried over into the remakes and I just... fell off the map... in that regard.

Are you in school then? :pink_tongue:
There are a lot of cool things. I'm more of a Trade Centre / XY / ORAS / General Chat person, but I have spent my share of time in the fanfiction area when school wasn't so hectic :pink_tongue: That was a long time ago, though.
That's OK! Everything's a first time new thing right :pink_tongue: How are you liking what you've seen so far, though?
