  • Thank you very much, it definitely will! If there's anything you're looking for just send me a message and I'll do my best to try and get it for you. :)
    No, no, look at Tetra's first post. The request was for Ice and Fairy. Both were available in Round 2. Fairy and Normal (from Round 1) were selected. Clear. Finito. Leave it alone, don't open a can of worms.
    Yeah, Magic Guard is really good. I can't wait to test it out! Haven't really tested it out much.

    And yeah it really does. Yeah was thinking about the Mega, and I have a Timid 5iv Ralts sitting around! Could really come in handy \^_^
    Others got to pick ahead of the newcomer. That's the advantage of being on time. :)

    Fortunately, both preferred types were options in Round 2. So really, nothing would have changed here.
    I still think it's fine. I mean, I'd rather that than lock it up, see what's left, and the newcomer gets whatever types are left that someone else did not have access to. I still think some type-juggling can occur where there's availability later, and I have an idea about that once the divisions are split, but I won't worry about it for now.
    Thanks, haha. Yeah, I was kinda thinking about that. Get that STAB Moonblast on Clefable, and get that beastly Azumarill on. Maybe a Gardevoir, too? I dunno. :3

    And I'll be doing singles
    In reference to Tetra:

    The initial post was picking types without knowing the rules that governed selection. I guided through what was left over from the first round (leading to the Normal pick), and if (s)he had been here a day or two earlier would have been last anyway with first pick immediately, so I said pick either Ice or Fairy if you want, but not both (both were available).

    So I say the selections fall within the guidelines you've set and the team building of a Normal/Fairy Gym can begin. :)
    You see, with help from Cyclone I've managed to make a base of what my team for the league'll look like, haha. You can go check it out in our convo ^_^

    But I'm working on a general for everything competitive team, or should I say a new one. My old team has become severely outdated and it's time it needs a revamp x)
    It certainly is. I found one annoying back in Unova's main game. Going to treat this Shiny right.

    Speaking of, it's now EV trained. Somehow got a 7 out of the Defense when I used a punching bag. Puzzled by that since I thought there were only 6 EVs left and both Attack and HP seemed to max out. I'll take the (minor) extra Defense! {XD}
    Heyy! ^_^ It's fine haha
    and yeah I should be up for a game on X/Y in a few days or so! I just need to get a few more Pokémon ready to use and I should be done :3
    Haha. I'm undecided on whether to try Sucker Punch on the Mega Evolve or not. Since Speed doesn't factor in until the next turn, that buys me the time. At the same time, if someone expects that, they may use a status move, and I have to try to predict when someone will do that so I can use any other move in my arsenal. But I can tell you it's EVed in Attack and Speed with the spare EVs in Defense, so it's ready to be leveled up. My final decision is its moveset. Either way, Sucker Punch buys me time; my decision between Night Slash and Flamethrower is really my only difficulty at this point.

    Also, I finally had to use X for a cloning job directly; I decided that I wanted the boosted Egg friendship to stay in place even though I'm sure it won't make a difference in the end since, by the time I reach the 50s, it will be ready to Mega Evolve anyway even starting from 0. It also sped up the job. So the clone is at Lv.1 with all the EVs. Store material. {XD}

    I started EV training the Shiny Pawniard I received from Fokko (for the Exeggcute). After reading that an unevolved Pawniard with Eviolite could use a mixed set of EVs, I decided no, I'm evolving it. The guide for that quickly became HP and Attack, so I'm working on those.
    Sadly, my breeding luck was not with me and I ended up with Pressure; I didn't even have an HA to utilize. That said, I can always breed a new Absol into the team, so I'll try mine out and can always swap in later on.

    You're right that some might expect a Sucker Punch. Especially since it's in the level-up set. I'll be looking at the moves of the supporting party, considering a second type that might have a Mega, and Absol might end up being nothing more than a second or third position battler. That still remains to be seen since I don't know my second type. I'm planning for its use as a Mega, however, and can always assign two Mega Stones so I have the option based on need.
    I'm actually having some thoughts on Absol usage. Leaders will be allowed to change Pokémon, right? I could use Sucker Punch evolving Mega Absol and then trade her back out for use later where speed is important, and the Dark type attack missing isn't a problem. If the opponent isn't attacking, Absol won't hit either, but can use any of her other attacks as her Mega Evolution would come with a quick kill in the event Sucker Punch connects, and any other kill if it doesn't. In other words, she would likely be undamaged.

    I'm starting to get this.
    I now have the best damn Absol you will ever see, fully EV trained in Speed, Attack, and the filler in Defense. And still at Lv.1. :)

    Now to decide between the Egg Moves and the level-up/TM moves. But first, cloning...
    I'll read that. :)

    Also, get this. I bred 20 Eggs. The second Egg out was 6IV. And FEMALE to boot.

    Moon Balls will be plentiful...
