Started playing your beta, and have to aay its quite nice.
My friend enjoyed the start too.

But i wondering the first encounter with the subo gang, where you have to try sneak pass them,
I realise i could just initiate a battle then get kick out and initiate another battle with the guy again.
I have been grinding my pokemon that way.
Was it suppose to be that way?

Yeah i have a switch. Played the sword and shield. It was a nice ring back to childhood though i was not fully fond of it because it was too easy because of the exp share.

That is certainly true. Pokemon is for all ages and it still are. It's funny how i have not played any of the ds pokemon games. So am excited for the one coming to switch.

Currently i am just using my laptop of like 5-6 years old. It's like at the end of its life already. So if i do get a new com/laptop, i might try again.

I remember trying to do the rom hacks alone, and it was terrible to say the least. Not the workload, its more to the being alone. Hahaha..Its always better to have someone to work with, to bounce off ideas and opinions.

You don't say. I got glance through some of the completed hacks or the latest updated. So many new features which was not available back then.

Pretty awesome how far it gotten since then. I did feel like just playing around abit with the rom hack section, more so in the map section. But i see the Rate your map thread is not as active as it was back then.

I did manage to get my work colleague to be interested in rom hacks, he loves pokemom games but he don't know the existence of this rom hacks.
I shall get him to try your beta when i go work this monday...

Will give you feedback on it after i play it. But i really love the colours. Idk why its just me or what, one look at the photos, I can still see your style of hack. Not just mapping, but the choice of tiles/colours all, really similar style to your old hacks.

I am actually excited to try your hack, i thought my old friends here have all move on from hacking. I went back and look at my old pages. Can see how young and naive i was. If i were to restart now, i bet i can do better..haha.

I mean the level of school i graduated from was below degree level. As of now not planning yet for degree as there is too many things to juggle in my life..haha

Believe it or not, my wife currently is a firefighter, so we not really planning to have children yet as it will make her unable to work during the time but in 2 years we planned to.

I have finish my army(went overseas for a year during my army service). Got back to school, not degree though but did graduated.
Now doing those normal 8-5 job which i dreaded much.

Oh, that a shame! I remember really enjoying your writing during that one pirate PMD RP we had. I also left RPing for a while but I came back last year and joined Spear! So if you're ever interested in reading the story of a bug catcher who wants to become champion, I highly recommend it ;) the arts pretty dope too

haha thanks, it's been quite a ride

yeah dude i was really getting crazy being stuck at home for months. the first few months were fine but then it started to really get to me. now we're still able to move around so i've been meeting people and stuff with precautions and it's been slightly easier now. and the vaccine rollout has begun but who knows how that's gonna be

damn, i just realized that the last time i spoke to you i had just entered college and now i've graduated lol

yeah, it's been a lot of ups and downs honestly, last year was especially rough. but overall i've managed and trying to be more positive about things lol
