Reset your game, making a note of your DS date and time at the moment you hit A while on the "Continue" screen. You do NOT need to know this down to the second, only to the minute, so it should not be extremely difficult. The continue screen is shown below so there is no confusion.


Is the DS time the time set on your DS, or the time it shows on the screen (25:47)?

nice! so, through the RNG method can you get great IVed shiny pokemon as well? or just shiny pokemon or just great IVed pokemon? lol, i hope you aren't too confused XD

i don't have a shiny to my own OT, which kinda saddens me :( so, i'm thinking of doing the RNG method. :D

oh. but if yo u catch the shiny gyarados in HG/SS, does that count as a regular shiny, or is the fact that the game makes it shiny affect it? if it counts as a regular shiny, that would be my ticket for figuring out my SID
