I don't really nickname my Pokemon, but I did like how my Totodile was named Champ or Champion or something like that. I think it was actually a Machop or a Charmander, but I forgot. The worst nickname has to be Shapes for Togepi, and Bangs for Kirlia. xD

Definitely the newer ones. It makes the game more fun and challenging, instead of just breezing through the gym with walk through walls. Some puzzles are actually really challenging, but fun! I enjoyed walking through Tate and Liza's arrow tiles in Ruby, even after defeating them. Some puzzles...
