My friend is trying to register my Heart Gold FC on his Soul Silver (my FC is 0390 0556 1667), and he keeps getting the message that it won't work. I've registered his, but he can't register mine. Why?

i don't like using legendary Pokemon because i don't feel like it's special. I feel like if i use a legendary it takes away from the experience that training a non-legendary Pokemon might give you.
