Okay what ROM do I need to play this to patch with the UPS file? No instructions in OP or anything. Edit: Nvm, patching gives a 'checksum invalid' error?

Is this something I have to patch a ROM with? Apologies if someone's already asked. I read through and saw you mentioned grabbing a ROM so I'm assuming yes. If so, how do I do it?

I agree wholeheartedly, I've been playing on and off for 3 days and still am unable to beat the first gym. Edit: For now, I think I'm going to stop playing this and come back to it later. Balance changes still need to be made to the game.

There needs to be a better way to grind before the first gym leader. This does not make for an entertaining game, even though I love everything else about it. Is there a different area besides the forest to grind at least?

You can't, there's no option in the options menu for it. There's no way to turn off the music either besides using the Windows Mixer and turning it down.

I agree with this 100%, but convenience beats being social for most people so... eh. My most memorable moment from the first gen is beating Brock's Gym with my Charmander. Solidified Charmander's place as my favorite Pokemon and it always will be. I had other Pokemon in my team but Charmander...

Hoothoot. So... so annoying. However, I actually like Dunsparce. It's a powerhouse in the main game IMO.

I'll probably be in and out mostly in the fan-made games forums, but I just wanted to make an intro post (and to get my post count to 5 to post some bugs lol). I currently play Pokemon ORAS as well as recently getting into fan-made games. I suppose that's all I want to share at the moment...
