True. Both hate Rocks, while Excadrill laughs at 'em, only taking 1/32.

Well, I think it certainly got enough. You have to admit, Sand Rush Excadrill is a pure weather sweeper. And because of its HP, Roobushin's unboosted Mach Punch will NOT one-hit the mole at full HP. Still, Roobushin tries. That's why it's about as common as Excadrill.

Because Sand Rush is always the first thought, meaning that Sand Force (that's the confirmed English name) is doomed to live in Rush's shadow, at least with Excadrill. And you have to admit, base 88 Speed by itself is very beatable, especially when Excadrill doesn't have the greatest bulk or...

Sand Rush is the main reason why Excadrill has been constantly labeled as a potential Uber. That and an overcentralization value matching Stealth Rock. I expected Victini to keep its JP name. Most legends do that. Only exceptions I can think of are the three elemental birds of Kanto.

Excadrill is pretty good. And I don't believe we should automatically believe that big list until the names are officially confirmed.

Acupressure is based on luck, like Inconsistent, yes. But there is a major difference. Inconsistent Pokes run Substitute + Protect to stall the foe long enough for the Ability to provide the boosts, whereas Acupressure doesn't kick in by itself; you have to use it, and using it leaves you open...

Yeah, I know. Good riddance. I was almost single-handedly destroyed by a 1-Poke team with an Inconsistent Bidoof. (Yay for a successful TrickScarf near the end.) I completely expected it to be banned because of its pure luck basing, as well as the fact that it flipped off the Evasion Clause...
