You thought about moving over to the decomps? You can do a lot to what's possible with binary (more familiar way) hacking. You won't have to worry about free space as data would get shifted accordingly.
Emerald offsets for 'Three snowflakes' fix:
AB162: 04 1C E1 F7 32 F8 0D 4A D9 21 C9 00 88 5C (Causes game to go black and the player is the only thing on screen. I recommend not changing this one)
AB480: F4 B4 (This is what prevents the screen from going darker)
ABD16: 80 5C 03 28 0D DB 04 28...
I feel GameFreak only did Mega Charizard X because it was what the fans had wanted, but at the same time, I feel Mega Charizard X is too overpowered. I feel both Dragon Dance and Tough Claws too much.
Charizard was originally Fire/Flying. no? Then why not give Mega Charizard Levitate? It'd still...
This patch is gonna benefit everyone! You want items in it? Add them in yourself and give LCCoolJ95 a break! He's working so hard on it, but it's clearly not good enough for people. I hope LCCoolJ95 carries on working on it because he's come so far now to just quit.
Gamer2030, I don't understand how I'm suppose to assemble this, I mean you put "Offset 0200F024 may not be safe in emerald but this can be changed to anything desired." What is that suppose to even mean? If it's not safe, then why can be changed to anything 'desired'? I'm confused...
How would this effect the Pokémon Center link rooms (Trade Center, Colosseum etc)?
I mean would it cause bugs if you tried to run while in link with another game?
I don't know if thread revival is allowed here, but the only instruments that get corrupted are the Multi-samples and then the instruments are uneffected, it's only the 'address2' of the multi-sample that gets corrupted.
Would it be possible to generate a double wild battle with another trainer?
Like in DPPt, you can team up with Riley and fight two wild Pokémon with Riley on your side.
I would just add the custom 8-bit tracks, like you did with the original patch. In the second patch, could you do it so that the tracks revert to the standard tracks like in HGSS?
Will you be adding the GB Player as a key item in the second patch?
