Yes it will be changed That's right! I transferred laptops and pretty much lost anything I had graphically related so I had forgotten, I'd be more than happy to use those OWs you made if you still have them.

Both are possible although new typing is waaaay less complicated. Just use a Pokemon editor to change the type.

Not sure if this was suggested or not, but maybe you could add a feature that lets you choose which eyecatch you want to use when you enter a dungeon?

I actually transferred my hack over to his ROM Base after I discovered it existed :) It made things a lot easier and more convenient on my part since I wouldn't need to spend any more time working on move related hacking. On a semi-related note, the OP will be updated by the end of the week :D
