Okay so he finished the file last night. He said that the grass tile needs some work, cause he hadto rush to make it, but for now, that's not a problem. Anyways, I have a mapping job for you! I need you to make the Slateport beach, and route 110 (for whatever reason, Syn wants to map the cities himself -.-). The game will start off there, since the player is coming in on a boat, and the first gym will be in Mauville. :D I have PM'd you the patch!

Yeah, but he's been working on the same inserting for 3 days x.x I know tile inserting doesn't take THAT long...

Yeah, he normally just pm's the patch, but inserting the tiles for whatever reason has taken him 4 days... he reeeeeally wants to remap the whole first part and I keep telling him that you and the other 5 mappers can -.-

So if you've read the forum page, you'll notice that syn has some stuff to take care of, so I'm in charge of the operation now. :D so when, or if, he gives me the patch with all the inserted tiles, I'll hand it over to you guys and then you can all finally map! :D

Not yet tomorrow I will post it :D it will be so epic it will only have natural tiles maybe I insert house tiles tomorrow? sorry but im working on it btw I JUST REALISED I HAVE 0 MORE PALETTES TO INSERT SOME FLOWERS & FENCES XD

Sorry I had to reinsert tiles something bad happened :/ But its okay I got it lol I added water, ledges and one more question do you need ocean tile? btw I have to reinsert the beach tiles -___________________________________________________________- the boat was a biiieeetch xD but hey i got this ;) thanks anyways

Yeah, this is the last time he'll have to though. I didn't know it would completely destroy the ROM when my changes were applied to the patch, so he's just going to insert the tiles and finish up. We should have a functioning alpha tonight or tomorrow night, which is awesome! Once he releases that, everyone can finally get to work on the rest of the game; you can map, and I can do all my scripty things :D

so I was doing this all on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop and it was slow and wasn't working anyway. Now I tried downloading it on my computer but I can't open visual boy advanced or my fire red rom because my Win Zip trial expired apparently. I tried downloading an alternative zip thingy but that didn't work. Any way around this?

Well I don't know a thing. I downloaded advance map and xse. I'm trying to load my fire red rom onto advance map but I can't. I may have deleted it so I'll try to download it again and see if it comes up. I'm also going to download yape. I'll probably continue to run into problems so I'll need some advice and have a lot of questions if you don't mind.
