Speaking of fonts, the reason you can't see the level is because you didn't download all the fonts from the included fonts folder. In-battle, it should look like this: And in-party it should look like this (courtesy of Phoenix) With the levels there and everything!

This has definitely been brought up many times--especially if you're playing on a Mac. These RMXP games are built to be run on PCs, and Wine and Wineskin are mainly ways by which to play, but they're not perfect. We're constantly working on ways to mitigate this issue though. Thanks for the...

As for sprite editing, I just use MS Paint--it's so simple to use and it's perfect with pixel art. Then, to touch up sprites, I'll use GIMP or Photoshop, depending on what the computer I'm using at the time has. There are a lot of tutorials on the internet for how to get into sprite editing.

That was an error with v1.1! We caught it extremely quickly and updated accordingly. Best advice in this scenario is to update to 1.1.1! The correct link is on the first post of the thread!

Yes, you can. That's why we disallowed staying in that room at the end. The save files should carry over to future releases.

^^ I'd love to interject that it IS possible to move past the lighthouse so long as you don't pick up the Pokéball containing the paralyze heal on the 3rd floor. It's a known bug that will be removed in future releases, but don't let it stop you from continuing your journey!!

Forgive me for saying so, but Pokemon are supposed to be "monsters" that fit in your pocket. Do you have any explanation as to why you don't think they look like Pokemon?
