If two people use the same image for an icon, unless they do some crazy unique style, they are going to look pretty similar... Don't feel unoriginal, nearly all icons are unoriginal. :P Make the main colours pop.

My icons are better than yours? Liess.. :P

I use GIMP and Paint.NET together. Some things are easier in one or the other, so I find it convenient to have both.

Apparently we have our own accent where we pronounce things with an "ou" sound more like Canadians do. I don't hear it. I pick up other peoples' accents sometimes without thinking about it; the other day I was talking to some British friends and later in the day told another friend to "bugger off." That was kind of weird.
