Thank you for the forum tips! I actually have beaten SWSH before, however lost all my progress due to a motherboard failure on my Switch. It's all good now and I'm probably going to revisit the game sometime in the future after I beat Violet.

My friend who has been into Pokemon for almost their whole life convinced me to play a soul link challenge with them on emerald, I ended up having a lot of fun and it got me to purchase Violet! Violet has got to be my favorite at the moment, and I'm excited to see what PLZ-A brings to the table...
