My mom had surgery the week before Thanksgiving, and is in okay health right now, she just needs help running errands, since she isn't ready to drive long distances yet. I help her out around the house and do things that she can't do because she can't pick up anything above 5 pounds. It's 6-8 week recovery period before she can be totally independent again. She keeps me on my toes, but it's nothing I can't handle. Just happy to have her out of the hospital and back home with me, and relieved that there were no complications from the operation. She is getting a lot stronger every day with less pain, and no longer needs the wheel chair. So the procedure was successful, and she should be healthier in the long run, there's just a natural healing process for the body that's happening right now :)

My boyfriend is also pretty strong. He was anxious to get back to work and classes and went back to his normal schedule by the end of the week. He was instructed not to do anything too strenuous since he likes to work out at the gym, but he's not in danger right now. We actually celebrated our 2 year-old anniversary yesterday. So even though there were times where I was very worried and recently, things are working out. I was just sharing a bit about my circumstance because sometimes it has made my responses slower, but at the moment things are looking up.

I really don't mind trading with you this weekend if you are home. I am not working Saturday or Sunday, so I am here this morning, afternoon and evening if you want to hook up, same goes for tomorrow. I don't see trading Pokemon as something to worry about, for me this forum is a fun escape often from the worries of the world. I am going to be online periodically this weekend anyway. I'm still staff here with sections of the forum to look in on, and haven't gone on leave of absence. So I say why not trade?

I got Sombra and Cantaloupe sitting in the pc on my copy of Y, and they probably are curious to meet their new trainer. Drop me a a line if today is a good day.

I am sorry I missed your morning message. I have been very pre-occupied lately. My mom had surgery recently. She is home now and making a strong recovery, but has needed a lot of extra TLC and looking after from me. If that wasn't intense enough this week my boyfriend was the victim of a hit and run. Luckily he wasn't hurt badly, it could have been very serious but it seems he had a guardian angel on his shoulder, watching over him. He's feeling sore, got some cuts and bruises but nothing broken, and he's been given a clean bill of health my doctors and is back to work now. I'm doing okay. Things are calming down, just wanted to let you know why I may have been a little absent-minded these last few days. I am in for the evening though, and if you want to trade tonight that's fine. Also I will be spending my weekend at home in case I miss you today, so maybe we can trade tomorrow or soon. I hope all is well. See you soon.

Ironically I checked for replies too, but when i didn't see any I assumed that you got busy or those times never were good for you. 6:00 and 8:30 am or pm eastern standard time? It's about 8:15 now and I can still make 8:30 in the morning if that's the time you want, but 6:00 and 8:30 pm I don't think i'll be back in yet. I'm here this morning though and at noon. I can trade you 1 Spearow called Cantaloupe easy, and a trade 1 Pumpkaboo named Sombra then. I don't mind trading you two of each, but if you insist on being a gentleman and calling it even then I'll just trade 1 of each for now, and if you find anything else cool on friend safari then I'll send you another spearow and pumpkaboo and we'll finish business. It'll give us yet another opportunity to trade and bond, which is always fun! Who knows? I might find some brand new shinies offer you as time passes. Each day is a new adventure.

On side note I thought you could cancel even a trade evolution by pressing b, unless the traded Pokemon is holding an that triggers evolution i.e metal coat, king's rock--those I believe will still evolve. However, just in case I am mistaken I will make sure I send Sombra to you with an everstone as insurance policy. With you also giving your mons an ever stone to hold it will be no trouble at all. We will be even Steven.

I am happy to keep Larvesta named Hestia. That's a beautiful name, and as a fellow lover of classical mythology I would be honored to have a Pokemon bearing this name. That is a unique choice. You have come up with some cool names in general I gotta tell ya.

If you are able to name Quilladin then I would like the name Templar, assuming it is a male.

Sorry that I missed your message earlier this week. I was online I just had a stack of mail, and didn't realize that you were ready to trade on Wednesday, and hoping to catch me. I was behind in reading replies. Again, Gomen Na Sai for that. I am going to be busy Friday evening after 6:00. Yup, I still have some Spearow. I'll trade you two then, that way you can keep one Spearow and make the other a Fearow if you want. Larvesta and Quilladin sound like a good bargain in exchange to me, especially because I like the look of shiny Chestnaught a lot, and it's a shiny that I don't have yet. I have a shiny Larvesta, but wouldn't mind another. One can be Larvesta, and the other a Volcarona.

Incidentally, are you still looking for shiny pumpkaboo? I noticed you mentioned that you were in search of them in the shiny hunters club, but didn't get lucky. So I was wondering if your luck ever changed? If not, I'll have you know that I happen to run into one or two shiny pumpkaboo while looking for something else, but with hindering natures. Are you in need of the purple pumpkins for a shiny living Dex? Wouldn't mind throwing em in for free if they can serve you. I already have a competitive shiny Gourgeist of my own, Jack Skellington, so I could part with these unexpected encounters if your needs are greater than mine. Let me know!

Yes, I have I all of the chain fishing Pokemon I think by now. Octilery's gold shiny is in my opinion an underrated one. My Halloween Hunt has been super frustrating. I got a shiny phantump on my first try in a ghost friend safari, which was nice. I wanted another for Trevenant, and that is when the game started trolling me. I ran into 6 shiny shuppet, and never saw another phantump, one and two shuppet was cool, but no more!

I have so many Spearow that they're practically coming out of my ears. I'd be happy to trade you two. I think they're jolly or adamant. Since I was synchronizing for a fletchinder (which I did finally snag) most of them got natures meant for a physical attacker. I also could spare a shiny Lillipup or two if you need one. I ran into a bunch on a buddy's a normal type friend safari before finding my target-- the pink mincinnio.

I actually have good number of shiny lampent and shuppet right now so I don't need those particular Pokemon. I do however need shiny ghosts in general because I am collecting them for Halloween. Do you have some other shiny ghost pokemon for either 6 or 7 that you would be willing to part with? If you don't have any then that's okay, I'd still happily trade you a Spearow anyway. I don't need 5 shiny spearow. 2 is enough for me.

I saw some of your recent posts in the Shiny Hunters club. Congratulations on your long and hard fought battle for the Latias, and your lucky Braxien.

I'm happy that I could help you achieve your Wartortle dreams. I know that's a popular one to collect. I have the Shiny charmander line and shiny bulbasaur line. I am thinking of completing the Kanto trio by hunting the Shiny squirtle line soon.

I'll need some of your good luck searching the flying friend safari. I haven't gotten Shiny fletchinder yet. Instead I got 5 Shiny Spearow haha. I don't mind having one or two of these guys, they in person look better than I think they are represented in photos. They have a gentle autumn color. But I am really ready to get the Swanna and the Fletchinder and conquer everything that safari of yours has to offer. I took a break, and did a steel safari, might do a friend's ghost or psychic safari next before circling back and trying my luck again for the Fletchinder.

Also thanks for your tips on hunting legendaries here. You're very kind! I like to synchronize, but often forget to use the rotom's powers, so I'll take that reminder to heart. I have one question about synchronize in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon that I was wondering if you could answer. Is the mechanic still the same for the sos chain as the glitch in Sun and Moon? Or was it fixed? In SM the nature that gets copied isn't always the Pokemon with synchronize, but whatever the first Pokemon in the party is. I.e My synchronizer Alakazam has a timid nature, it's the Pokemon on the field battling, but it wasn't the first Pokemon in my party. Say the first slot contains my Jolly Mimikyu, while Alakazam is on the field. Would the wild Pokemon copy Alakazam's nature or Mimikyu's in Ultra Sun? I thought I would ask the region's official naturalist to be sure!

You are a flying safari, with spearow, Swanna and fletchinder!! Awesome. I'm definitely going to go after the Shiny fletchinder, I love Shiny Talonflame and don't have one. Since our complete friend safari is unlocked there's the possibility for gale wings too.
