It's nice that you've gotten Photoshop. It's really useful. I've got the CS4 Extended version. Anyways, been playing the hell out of Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet, so I haven't finished yet... *innocent face* Gotta get to work. Big update when I'm done.

    Scarf's Pixels

Overall, I'd like to say that you have taken my advice very well. This one is quite odd, the sprite is actually good, but the fakemon itself needs work. Just give it lighting and blend in dark but more colorful outlines. Anyways, fantastic work overall. I'm very glad you've taken my advice...

    Pixels of Smash

Way to go! Awesome sprites. Not very classic Pokémon, but I love it! The shading is simply fantastic! You are really skilled at making realistic sprites. By the way, the world map is very creative! By all means keep it up!

Oh great, another sprite thread from Haz...

The outlines and shading are the main problems. I'll go in more detail: Outlines: For round surfaces you really have to make it rounder. I know it can be difficult but that is vital in Pokémon sprites. Also try avoiding jagged outlines, those are not good. Also, make all outlines dark...

    First Try at D/P/ Shading

The shading is actually quite nice. For this one, vary the outline so it's not all the same color. For the purple body, extend the darker shade to avoid flatness. On the top of the head the outline needs to be rounded just a little bit more. For the eyes, shade around them and use shading for...

Sure, just give credit. To everybody: My tiles are only available IF YOU ASK. You may not use them WITHOUT my permission. Anyways, I'm making roads and bushes. Got some done already. Then indoor tiles and then... We're pretty much done! Just maybe some buildings.

    Team Pasta!

Good, good. Since the sewers are quite colorless, I'm planning on making some of the districts very colorful, so doing plants and bushes right now... EDIT: UPDATE!!! A modern city block building, and then some army-type building? And yes, I'm still working on the roofs. Once again, opinions...

Okay, update on the sewers!!! Those are looking better. Now starting on roads...

Okay guys, got some new tiles to show you. Still work in progress: Whadya guys think?
  13. T

    Team Pasta!

Yeah, maybe something like that. But I don't think we need to drag that "gritty" feeling that far. I don't necessarily think the trainers in the sewers need bad Pokémon, maybe just good Pokémon but stolen ones? Maybe have a side-quest with a gang you have to beat (like an unofficial gym...

    Team Pasta!

Yes, I agree. Right now I'm planning sewer tiles and prison underground tiles. Any suggestions or wishes for those? Should I make them really gritty and run-down? Or should I make it modern and clean? I think the first one would fit better. Should I have pipes, vents, other stuff? I AM planning...

Comin' Right up. Looks very nice. Hmm... The actual city tiles shouldn't very far away. I've still got to do the sewers, inside tiles, some big boss buildings, and roads, then we could start mapping. Mountains and other areas should take a bit longer, but we could start without them.
