It stops at a 3 way stop... basically a T with the hill at the long edge and another road that is the horizontal on top... the fence is across from teh hill XD

Nah they just put a fence on the bottom of a hill that's really icy in the winter... bad bad idea

XD thanks as for both of the crashes, I was not injured... I actually recovered quickly from the fence crash and put my truck into gear and drove out of another hole someone else had made in the same fence XD

My first crash was into a fence... I learned about the amazing lack of friction of ice...
My second was a a stupid one, I lost control on slush... over corrected... ended up in a snow bank... It would have been fine if I had been in my truck but I was in a tiny FWD Geo Prizm... the night I hit that deer I was delivering pizzas I wasn't being paid to stop

I was going to say, Car crashes are really sucky XD I know I've crashed my cars... twice I think... I also took a deer out going 70 but... I don't think It's considered a crash... primarily because I didn't stop... XD

I'm doing good, the last few days have been 23-26 hour days so I'm hoping to just get a normal nights sleep tonight XD By the way what kind of crashing had you done, I assumed vehicle wise, but it had occurred to me you may have meant sleep-wise.

Mmmkay ^-^, as for why they are as common as they are, it's because the mosin nagant was one of the most widely produced rifles in the 20th century XD Russia made A TON OF THEM and then Russia gave its satellite countries the designs and they then made a TON of them as well XD.

I own quite a few firearms, but my first rifle (and the rifle type I purchase to work on my gunsmithing skills) Is a Russian Mosin Nagant (I like to call it an m91-30 but for the sake of understanding I'll use the common western name for the rifle) I sort of collect them and I know the insides and outs of the rifles well enough to disassemble it and reassemble it blindfolded.

Where I purchased the rifle:
I bought it at a local sporting goods store... they are still an extremely common rifle, and I purchased My first one for 89.99 USD. Unfortunately Australian laws prevent the ownership of a mosin nagant due to the fact that the 7.62x54r cartridge is considered a military round...

Proficiency wise:
I also own an Ak variant and a chinese sks, though I've owned them for a shorter period of time and I've put fewer rounds down range with either of them to consider myself adequate with them yet... I can pick up any of the mosins I own and shoot at least a 2 inch group at 200 meters, plus I prefer 7.62x54r to 7.62x39 (sks/ak size) because I use my rifle for hunting purposes more than anything, and I prefer the extra effective range/stopping power...
If you want to know any more, especially the history side of things, let me know... cause I know a TON about these rifles in particular ^-^

I wonder if they have a chapter in guerrilla Tactics 101 about dealing with mutant kittens sporting machine guns... oh yeah I think that's in the footnotes of chapter 23 XD

I support the idea that people with the right training should be allowed to keep firearms with them. It is really based on personal opinion though XD, I keep my DMR (designated marksman's rifle) in my trunk in the case If ever need it, that with 35 rounds of ammunition in the glove box. But My DMR is an old world war 2 era bolt action rifle that I have completely customized to my specs... ^-^ I am more proficient with it than I am with a semi automatic rifle.

Yeah, sadly I know Australia doesn't have the most relaxed firearm laws either. And you be surprised what you can accomplish using guerrilla tactics XD even without a firearm
