I already have a Switch, but I've been thinking about giving it to my Niece and buying a new one. So if a Pikachu/Eevee version comes out that'd probably cement my decision.
I generally ignore most rumors/"leaks", we've gotten so many of them for Pokemon Switch ever since it was announced. But when I saw "Let's Go Pikachu" at the top of reddit I figured something must of been announced. Not quite, but apparently the names have been trademarked? I can start getting...
I've beaten Pokemon Red over 400 times, but that's because I do speedruns of the game. I've put in over 200 hours so not quite as much as I've spent in competitive battles with X/Y, but still I love replaying Red. There's so much nostalgia in Kanto for me, just walking through Viridian Forest...
My last speedrun in Pokemon Red was a silly attempt with Bulbasaur. Took me about 4 hours to beat the game, my team was:

Pidgey @ Lvl 13
Lapras @ Lvl 16
Paras @ Lvl 8
Moltres @ lvl 51

it seems to be the general consensus that easy and hard modes only add to a game, rather than reduce the experience. Glad to hear all this feedback. I play a lot of games that are for the most part bereft of story so the gameplay is the only interesting aspect. For games like that I generally...
When you start up some games for the first time you have a very important decision to make (once you've passed the loading screens and company logos). What difficulty to play on? Take it easy and make your way through the story? Or play it on hard to truly challenge yourself?
A rose by any...
I was scared when I heard about weather nerfs cus I always play Rain Dance teams. But I have never used a Poke'mon with drizzle. So it does't really effect me.
