There's no doubt they were ridiculously easy compared to older games. XY was easy too. Luckily turning off the EXP Share helps to make the game less of a cake walk.

Went with Togetic. I'm not partial to many flying types, to be honest. But Togetic is really quite cute, and Togekiss is nice competitively in doubles.

Voted for other. It's Deerling. I love Deerling, it's just so adorable, and not actually bad in LC on PokemonShowdown.

I didn't really like any of them at first, but after awhile I warmed up to a lot of them. Cinccino, Whimsicott, Sawsbuck, Swanna, Hydreigon, Lilligant to name a few.

Black/White was an amazing game. I could never regret playing it. If anything, I regret never completing BW2. For whatever reason I just couldn't get "into it" at the time. And I think I've been spoiled too much by gen 6 graphics to go back to it and play the postgame of it.

I've named him various things. Usually Green. I think once I named him like.. Ralph or Raleigh or something like that. Don't remember why! I also named hi Gary when I was little after the anime character.
