I love them. Just got a Porygon a week ago. You actually have to do some thinking instead of mindlessly pressing a button. ...Or, alternatively, just buying coins and not playing at all.

When you put it that way, I guess that makes sense... but I'm fairly certain every encounter/egg is a 1/whatever number chance every single time. So it's not like you would encounter a shiny once every eight thousand battles or so. Dx I'm not really sure how to explain how it works.

I've gotten about three dozen choice items from that path. But I've gotten a few helpful TMs too, which I'm very grateful for. ^^
