Definitely Vega. I get making your game a challenge, but Vega is downright sadistic. The puzzles are absurdly cryptic, the Gym Leaders are overleveled and the other trainers and wild encounters are massively underleveled, and the inability to purchase healing items better than Super Potions and...
So I just failed miserably at a Fool's Gold Nuzlocke (amazing game if you haven't tried it, I loved how quirky the Pokemon designs were). I'm looking for a hack where I can go in blind and do a satisfying Nuzlocke-- something that isn't too story-driven and is relatively challenging, but not as...
Given that I almost exclusively play Nuzlockes, I'm inclined to go with Wobbuffet. Ultra Necrozma is pretty scary as well, but I had an Umbreon with Toxic and Protect when I Nuzlocked Ultra Sun and was able to take it out without losing anyone.
A lot of the Gen 1 evolutions feel boring and lazy; Magneton and Dugtrio are obvious examples, but not enough attention is given to stuff like Primeape, Electrode, and Muk, which are basically just bigger versions of their pre-evos.
I'm really taking my time and savoring the game, and my team is consistently changing. I'm going to be heading to Po Town pretty soon; my current team is:
Incineroar "Brimstone" - Gentle nature - holding Incinium Z
-Darkest Lariat
-Fire Punch
-Brick Break
-Thunder Punch
Vibrava "Eridian" -...
I tend to avoid mainstream corporate media. Generally I watch the David Pakman Show and Secular Talk; they do admittedly come from a left-libertarian perspective, but they aren't biased in what they present. Pakman also does a lot of really informative and sometimes entertaining interviews. I'm...
1/10. He's a total buffoon who spends more time going on Twitter rants than he does leading the country, he seems to have no interest in leading the country, and when he does try to get things done he does disastrous things like make weapons deals with Saudi Arabia, toy with getting us into more...
I always had a soft spot in my heart for Gliscor. Weavile and Honchkrow are also cool; honestly, most of the evolutions introduced in this gen were well thought-out. Except Lickilicky. And Ambipom. We don't talk about them. Rotom is also a personal favorite of mine. The concept of a poltergeist...
I absolutely loved it playing through it for the first time, but looking back on them they definitely have their fair share of problems. In my opinion they are the most polished games in the series, thus their appeal; they're visually appealing, trigger nostalgia in a large portion of the...
One thing I noticed from reading your poetry is that you use a lot of repetition. This can be effective if the words or phrases being repeated are beneficial to the meaning of the poem, however I've noticed a few cases where you seem to be using it solely to sound poetic.
I'm going to focus in...
