  • Oh, we have now found the point where our claims can no longer be supported by anything other than speculation. Never has it been clarified whether there is a limit to the force of the blast that Wobbuffet can take or not, and that's where we disagree. There is absolutely no reason to continue this argument, as there is no evidence to support either case. In fact, the only thing we can safely assume is that as long as the anime doesn't answer this question, we are both correct, and the Wobbuffet receiving the infinitely-charged blast will end up both alive and dead at the same time, like Schrödinger's cat.
That is also impossible. The fact that the power gets doubled stays, and no matter where Wobbuffet gets the energy from, it must be able to be infinite. Assuming he got it from the environment, the universe would have to have infinite energy, which, as far as I know, it doesn't.
I'm not putting up a fight either. I'm just trying to prove my point, and I never give up on that. You have no idea what you have gotten yourself into :P.
That claim is incredibly unreasonable, and I am going to prove that right now:
Wobbuffet can always return an attack with double the force, no matter how powerful it was. Assuming he spends energy doing that, he would be required to possess at least as much energy as he got hit with. All that energy would have to be stored somewhere. Since Wobbuffet's body is not infinite in size, his particles would have to have an infinite amount of energy stored in them (As the power of the blast it can take is limitless). If they had an infinite charge, his body would show incredibly violent behavior, like moving at the speed of light, or having all that energy turn into mass and make the universe collapse into an infinitesmall point. That does not happen, so we can only assume wobbuffet does not need to spend energy. Therefore, the machine would actually work, and it would break the laws of physics.
