The demo has been pulled since it won't be representative of the final game. The next release will be the final game, and there will be no further content developed afterwards, only bug fixes.

I have been working with manta to address concerns regarding scope creep, and the overwhelm produced by the ambition of the project. I can confirm a few things. Firstly, the final Pokédex was recently decided, and it will contain 151 Pokémon. Secondly, the story structure will be changed to traditional adventure, and the focus on story will be reduced to match the extent of early titles in the franchise. Thirdly, after considerable internal discussion, the «anti-speedup» measures will not be carried forward. It was considered to be unnecessary due to the restructuring of the scenario. Our focus is on finishing the game now and making the most of the assets that already exist, avoiding creation of new assets, because it is costly. We cannot give any release date at this time.
