i'm just making trainer battles and i need to make some sort of script to help move the story along a bit in the Town i'm at now

i havent looked into making tiles yet, but i'll have to end up looking for a good tutorial sometime.
i've got some kewl ideas for tiles and dont wanna use someone elses :)

i dont just want palette changes of the sprites, i'm wanting sprites that have the same feel as the official games. I might attempt it myself sometime.

XSE and Advance Trainer are 2 different things, they both not working for ya?

There you go :) it works now. i tested it myself.

I had this problem too. The giveitem bit was wrong in the tutorial. You just needed the MSG_OBTAIN command at the end of that line.

I also separated the #org @done part too.

I have no idea why your programs aren't working. They all work fine for me.
I think if you do get urself a new computer, make sure it's internet protected.
You could just have some sort of virus which is screwing up some ur programs. It happened to me a few year ago; I ended up formatting it...many times :)

but your script should work if you take out all the ' symbols. they're not needed.

Also try another trainer (0x001) for now...try use 0x19E (which is Brock)

i dont think 0x001 has any trainer data in it, which could also make the game restart

i dont use elite map. A-map and XSE are the boyos :)

and yeah, i use eXtreme Scripting Editor for my XSE. I dont kno what makes the game reset, used to happen to me.

i suggest looking at your script and see if you've missed summit.
