You know, I have a suggestion (after reading said VM chat between you and princess). If Warren does win (which he won't), Sam makes him promise something. Sam's too emo to really give a damn whether he loses or not, so he makes Warren promise him something.

"Hahaha...good job, Warren," Sam said, laughing quietly. Warren rolled his eyes.

"It wasn't really hard, though. I don't see why you're surprised."

"Eh. Anyway, in more serious tone, I've got a favor to ask of you."

Also, the idea of Warren getting back to his roots...sounds interesting. Hoenn's more of a OMG Sam's evil region. The dark side takes over for like...a really long time after a certain point. I suggest Sam fight either Jazmine (princess's new character) or Warren...it just fits.
