Yep! It's good. I can't wait for everyone to post so we can all meet up and stuff. :D I also hope the OOC gets approved soon too, because I really want to discuss plot and ideas and stuff!

I didn't think there would be a need for partner pokemon, because of the group. If two or three wanted to journey together at a time it'd be essentially the same. Although I guess if you actually wanted a partner that wasn't from the group, you could nab an NPC and flesh them out. =P

As for dungeons, I'm not sure. I don't know how well that would translate into a literate RP. The whole region is kind of one giant dungeon, and I guess you could separate the unique locations as individual dungeons.

sorry for not answering earlier, i hadn't really had time to sit down and write it out, and i should've told you earlier since i had a responsibility to you…
anyways… this has a lot of possibilities, it could definitely be very good, but you'll need to watch out for a couple of things:

- firstly, since the immune population isn't safe, they can't carry their lives normally, that's a given. but that means that you'll be lacking the main framework of a pokémon rp… the pokémon league, and any way to implement it will straight-out sound silly :\ this means that you'll have to rely on the ability of the rpers to interact, and at the same time make meaningful posts… or resort to some other type of framework.

- another problem you could encounter could be that a really explicit implementation of violence will make the rp's characters a lot more volatile, and the rp more ridiculous… a shame when it happens, but i've read posts of unhappy rpers,in rps like this one, who give up on the rp, and instead of informing the rp master that they're leaving… they make it clear by graphically displaying their over-theatrical deaths, making the rp itself just a circus

therefore, i'd recommend making a number of free-posts at first, allowing for interaction and character development, but you'll have to have a planned schedule of most key events in the rp, you're also going to have to put a cap to how violent you're willing to go (remembering that not everyone is as creative as quentin tarantino when it comes to violence), and you're going to have to make this clear in your first post in order to weed out the weaker rpers quickly

and yup, that's pretty much it… :D

btw: is there any way to evolve pokémon that require trades in the rp? and if so, could i request to reserve elekid for the rp? lol

Everyone's starting point will be in my post at the beginning of the RP, with maybe a few more pointers.

As for a guide to the wild pokemon, once you've decided to accept the challenge or not, and have free time to do so, I'm giving the RPers freedom to catch any pokemon they'd want. That is to say, you wouldn't find a fire pokemon in an icy region, so realism plays a big part.

Like I also pointed out in the notes part (which I will probably clarify in the first post starting teh RP), when you write that your character has found a pokemon that they want to catch, you will write the battle up to the point of throwing the pokeball and absorbing the pokemon. That way I wil essentially grade the battle and see if you have caught it or not. (that's why catching legendaries will not only be possible in this RP, but extremely difficult).
