imho, the anime is pretty awesome stuff, up till about episode 40-ish, where it starts to stray from the manga. And yes, I do support quite a number of couples. Like Soul/Maka and Kid/Liz/Patti, and Harvar/Jacqueline and Ox/Kim. The more crackier pairings I like are Black Star/Patti, Crona/Maka, Mifune/Tsubaki and Kid/Maka.
