    Well, PMD1 was the Rescue Team one while PMD2 was the Explorer Team one. I think I'm currently leaning more toward the Explorer idea because it opens the door to a lot more possibilities. Though I've realized that if I make a PMD-style hack, I'll have to come up with a good plot and everything. I'm gonna need your help with that. ;)

    You always know the right thing to say without actually influencing my opinions on the matter, thus making me decide by myself. Though I suppose that's a good thing, actually.

    Alright, I guess I'll look into an MD style hack. I'll have to work out a lot of stuff first (like the whole battle system thing (it would be weird to still have PokéBalls flying and stuff)). I also have to decide whether to take a PMD1 or PMD2 approach. Hm, possibilities...
    So. I really want to make 2011 the year that I finally post a thread for my hack. Thing is, I'm still stuck on what type of hack I want it to be. I'm actually strongly considering a Mystery Dungeon-style hack because I love the concept of those games and the only thing I didn't like was the battle system (so it works out nicely seeing how I'll be hacking an Adventure game). I think the main reason that there aren't many hacks of that type (MD) is the fact that they're difficult to pull off. However, I think that I have the knowledge and skills to make a decent quality hack of that style. Plus, I think I could port a lot of my ideas from my current 8 gym-style hack into Mystery Dungeon equivalents. It would probably be more like destinedjagold's Rescue Rangers than the actual Mystery Dungeon games but I really dunno. What do you think?

    Well, I guess that only might have to do with my prior forum experience and my needs. I can't say that I got any good at, but I already learned what's basic about mapping, scripting, and inserting stuff with hexadecimal values (and repointing).

    I suppose that most newcomers to the Emulation category have different needs.

    That's for a and b. As for c, I'm not directly caring about others, I care about their deeds, or deeds to be done.

    As for that ASM part, I don't even know how that came to my mind, but I thought it was the most logical explanation to the definition of ASM. Luckily, there lies the swiftness of colcolstyles.
