I'd like it if it never got below 70 XD I just really hate wearing layers and layers of clothes when I'm more comfortable with just a T-shirt and shorts.

And in school I just got involved with a lot of clubs and stuff, especially after transferring midway through 10th grade. I think that helped me adjust to the new school fairly quickly.

And speaking of school, our superintendent's being all whiny because the budget was voted down... That would have increased taxes by 8%... gee, I wonder why it was voted down? [/sarcasm]

Nah, I like warmer weather... 18 years of snow was enough for me. Maybe it's because I grew up in the frozen wasteland of upstate New York but I like warm weather.

And the storm happened in the evening so nobody was in the school building except maybe janitors.

Yeah, I did have a more positive opinion of school when I went which is probably why I enjoyed it... well, that and I was good at just about everything xD

No idea who that is yet. I've only had the new episodes to watch recently and no old episodes. New-old episodes. Old episodes that, despite being old, are new to me. But yeah, I'm loving the current season. Can't wait for Saturday.

I'll probably like her since I grow to like pretty much all the characters. Well, except some of the companions from the black and white era since they didn't stick around long enough for me to like them: Ben, Polly and especially Dodo. :|

Yeah, I'm completely the opposite as far as my parents wanting me to stick around... my parents live in New York and I went to college in North and South Carolina... not only because it's far away but also because the weather's so much better :P

From what I hear though, my old high school has gone to hell in a handbasket since I left... budget cuts and all... heck the place even lost part of the roof... that's gotta be a sign, lol

Sarah Jane's first episodes weren't all that great, I thought. She and Jon Pertwee didn't mesh well. And she had such bad fashion. That hair. :/ I feel bad saying that now.

I went to college 800 miles from home. I really needed to get away. Sadly, I'm back living with my parents until I can find work, and I'm getting sick of them and they're getting sick of me...

Congrats on graduating high school! Ours had part of the roof blown off last week by a massive storm with wind and lots of rain xD Somehow the kids only missed one day of school before it was temporarily patched up. I'd still be a bit nervous about getting wet on the top floor if I still went there, especially since we're still getting rain :/

I haven't recorded anything lately... not since the CEO of my favorite hotel chain appeared on Undercover Boss. We have a couple DVD/VCR converters though I haven't used the VCR part of them... I'd rather use my five year old machine with all the bells and whistles :)

I just need a job for the money... and hopefully so I can live somewhere far away from the hellhole called home... back where I went to college sounds good, as I met a lot of awesome people there.

The good thing is, right before they took them off the market, I bought a fairly high-end standalone S-VHS recorder (because the ones that are part of those DVD/VHS combo units are usually crap) that hopefully should last me a good long time... I have a bunch of VHS tapes that I recorded off TV from 10-15 years ago that hopefully still work. Maybe I should look for old VHS anime releases on Amazon... I've heard that most of the old releases are of bad shows but maybe there's a hidden gem in there somewhere, lol

I'm still on the Tom Baker episodes. I just watched Sarah Jane's last episode as a regular companion, which was sadder than it should have been in light of what happened. :( But yay. I really enjoyed Jon Pertwee's episodes and all the bantering between the Doctor and the Master. And Jo. She's probably one of my favorite companions.
