Zerin? You often insist that you (or others) should be exempt from the rules on a just-trust-me basis and I find it somewhat difficult to confront you about any given thing without upsetting you.

Before I go on though? You're far from the only person with some degree of issue with authority. However I find yours to be somewhat more pronounced in that most people don't ask to be exempt from the rules.

You see the thing about that is that as an RPer, people tolerate mistakes more. As an authority figure, there's a double standard where people will rip you apart for the same mistakes they tolerated when you were just another RPer. Approximately 100% of the population fits into this to some degree.

If I as the GM had made a character like Kiyoko, people probably wouldn't have taken it as well because they'd be much more prone to seeing it as an abuse of power. I mean did you know I often find myself very afraid that some day someone is going to accuse me of godmodding with Valorie despite her clear limitations?

I don't get the impression that you're particularly prone to abusing power. However, I do get the impression that sometimes your judgement fails you. I'll continue being honest. I would require a rather lengthy talk with you and we'd need to be able to agree on some things in order for me to consider allowing you to GM with me. And to be fair, I typically have such talks with anyone who wants that job just because it's almost always better to have them, but the point is that I'm /very/ picky, and so the answer would be kind of iffy.

Well yeah Zerin. All those RPs you made that didn't work.... I mean I honestly don't like that this decission is on my plate. <____> I would be very picky about whom I let GM with me. After all GMing is not the same as joining an RP. It's not something to be taken casually... It's a highly competitive market mainly because a GM can make or break a roleplay very easily. Me? I would he very concerned about your distaste for authority and that track record. I would want to talk about these things and hiw we could make sure they don't become a problem. But I can't do that here! I'm not Quto, so how am I supposed to come to a good decission?

I'm also not completely sure why Julia would be eavesdropping. But yeah, the one thing she probably would not do is confront him about it or bring it up. So if she did overhear it she'd probably try to keep it a secret. (Not /that/ hard.)
