Well...I was a different person back then, I guess. I also used to roleplay, and I was in my writer's phase as well. I also had less money for games so I didn't have as much to do. It just kinda...added up, haha. I like playing games and chatting, but these days I'm a little more measured; if I'm not wasting my time away I like to make sure I have something worth saying/reading.
I'm intrigued; I'll at least give Conquest a look-in now to see how I find it. I've never been one for self-imposed challenges for some reason; I just don't get much satisfaction out of it and I'm not really one for bragging about being able to do stuff. But yeah, as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters; the best thing about games is that you can play however you want to...or you should be able to, anyway. Creating your own difficulty in the absence of any programmed into the game is a great way to go about it.
Yeah, the problem with a lot of video games is that harder difficulties just mean you have to play in a certain way; it's not actually difficult as long as you know what you're doing. Or if you just grind until you're at a high enough level to win without much difficulty; standard RPG practice...and something I keep bringing up every time someone says old Pokemon games were harder than the newer ones when the base gameplay is the same >.> Things haven't really advanced that far from old-school platformers that required precise jumping. It's restrictive and predictable and not really all that fun, which is why I rarely play on hard unless I'm in the mood to see if I can play in a certain way.
Difficulty in video games. I sense another topic. My first poll on Monday was going to be about difficulty as well...ehehe.
Doesn't the wait for new episodes each week drive you crazy? I guess it's probably just me being impatient, but I've always hated waiting for the next episode. I should really carry on with Arc-V, I've not watched it in a few days...I'm actually watching Attack on Titan dubbed now, of all things. Dad expressed an interest in it, so. Gotta encourage that. I've seen KonoSuba! One of the better shows I've seen this year, actually. Looking forward to the second season when it comes out, it's one of those shows based on an LN where the plot isn't particularly relevant, so it doesn't leave that annoying sour taste in my mouth when it finishes inconclusively. These "anime based on MMO" shows are getting better; Overlord was pretty good too. I'll probably watch Re:Zero when it finishes airing, it's on my curiosity list. Have you seen Log Horizon? I've been debating watching that recently as well.
We have outlets of that here, I think! I imagine shifting stock is pretty hard work since it's a pretty active job, but at least you're in the back out of the way of the customers, right? Working customer service is pretty draining mentally if not physically. But yeah, work is work and money is money, right?
Eh...I guess. No short answer to that really. Did you get enough sleep last night?~
