Yeahhh. From IRL friends I've talked to that have cheater, it seems to be a time thing. Lotta people aren't as serious about Pokemon and just wanna beat up stuff and have cool Pokemon without investing ages.

Yeah, which is why I took several weeks for the trip haha. Idk, I don't actually think I jinx things, but I can't say for sure. My luck is really up and down. You hail from WA right? A lot of us seem to wanna come back...if we can. Seattle and the surrounding areas are becoming crazy expensive to live in. Well, based on what I've seen in PKHeX...yeah, hacking is easier lol. I can't really condone anyone that does it IN THE CASE OF they hack Pokemon and use them in game, not online and not trading them around. It's the people who lie that it's legit or don't know any better that drive me up a wall. I think it's the hard work in getting something that makes it worth it.

Sure, thought I feel there are a lot more people making hacks than there are people like us trying to get rid of them. We even get tricked apparently; word finally reached me that the Shiny Easter Egg events with the OT Toyin ended up being hacked, when I was originally told there was evidence of the redemption and everything. So friggin annoying...This is why I'm getting most of the current stuff myself. It's not worth taking the risk anymore. >>
(Actually heading out in about an hour to get some new events. Gonna try to get all 3 but I'm not sure it'll work out since I don't know exactly how the event is gonna work. With my luck I'll end up with 3 copies of the same thing...sigh. Wish me luck. @w@)

Cool, I barely know what an R4 card is so at least it doesn't affect my stuff haha. I certainly have some of the Yachi Unown but Idr where I got them from...I'll check my trade records. You don't have to refund me haha, but this means I'll have to hunt them on my own somehow. Another thing on my list of projects. @w@

Cool, I'll try to remember that. Like I mentioned to her, my issue with previous-gen stuff right now is that I get NO flags, so I'm left just looking at their info and being like "well that's legal so I guess it's fine." I'm checking stuff on my Y game (where I keep my normal Shiny collection in 6th) and it's been useful for spotting suspicious 6th born stuff but not much else. Maybe I don't know how to do more checks?

I'm so, so sorry, MechaMoth. That does sound horrendously difficult to deal with, especially over decades. :/ I hope your dad manages well. Death always leaves these ugly open threads loose. At least your dad has you.
