You don't need a 6IV shiny Ditto to get into competetive. Whoever told you that tried to troll you into buying some hack. 6IV have a chance of 1% to spawn in 5 star raids, it's near impossible to get one + shiny status.
You are perfectily fine at breeding with 2 different 5IV Dittos. Or 4 IV even.
You basically use Ditto 1 till you get the stat that Ditto 2 is missing and then you breed the offspring with Ditto 2.
