Romance Anime & Manga Club (BoyxGirl only please)

I think romance is my fave subject for anything - anime, manga movies XD
 
Yeah that is my favorite too while the other genres are second or last. XD I am just a hopeless romantic. When I see two people fall in love, it makes me think...I hope I will fall in love like them someday.
 
Well love is a fun subject to read/watch ^^

Although I am at the point where I think it only exists it movies/songs/books etc... ^^;

Is anyone watching any of the new Shojo animes that just started?
 
I don't blame you that you think that way. It is fun to see your favorite character fall in love. ^^

Well I am planning on watching some. Just need the day and place and I will watch it.

Can I join? I've been planning to for over a month now, but never got around to it... XD;

Romance is probably my favorite genre, period. The stories can go from being lighthearted and silly to dramatic and even pretty dark, so I always enjoy watching/reading them. Plus, the main characters (especially in shoujo series) are usually pretty realistic and easy to relate to, since you often find out a lot about their true feelings and personal struggles in life. That's why I like them best. ^^

Wow, what good reasons to like romance. The characters seem more realistic when expressing their love for one another. I love that part. XD

Thank you both! And hmm, as for my favorites...it's so hard to decide on just one. I'm torn between Full Moon, Vampire Knight, and Honey and Clover. They'll probably be my eternal top threes, both when it comes to manga and anime. I really like how the romantic relationships are handled in each of them, even VK. XD

Since I noticed you both seem to like Shinshi Doumei Cross, did you hear that it will be ending in June (when the July issue of Ribon comes out in Japan)? It's sad...but I guess that's better than dragging it out until it gets boring. A picture from Arina Tanemura's next series has been released, though. Click! It's called "Mistress Fortune" and I'm sure we can expect plenty of romance. ♥ It looks cute, and I love the main character's pink hair.

They do remind me of Takuto and Meroko, though, because of their wings and everything... XD

OMG! I love her stuff. I can't wait for the new one. I am kinda glad Shinshi Doumei Cross is ending because I want to know what happens in the end....its driving me crazy. XD It is my favorite of her work. Haine is such an awesome character. ^^

My favorite shojo anime would have to be Card Captor Sakura! Although, it is hard to pick only one. XD
 
Yeah! From what I've heard, SDC can be pretty hard to follow...so I'm sure some answers will be nice! I never really got into it because of the shounen-ai stuff that popped up, but I did love the character designs, especially Haine's. I could stare at Arina Tanemura's artwork all day. XD

I wonder what her next one will be about? It looks really cute and lighthearted, but I guess we shouldn't let that fool us. Full Moon was the same way, but it actually turned out to be pretty gloomy at times. XD

Ooh, and I love CCS! I've only seen a little bit of it, though...
 
shounen-ai? I thought it was going to be that way at first but its not. They just say that about him (the main guy) so girls will leave him alone because he is really popular at school. So it doesn't really contain that kinda thing...it was a lie about him.

CCS is so good I watched the entire anime and I want to read the manga but I still need to buy some of it. (Although it is all on mangafox if you can read online. )

I can't remember I don't think they become a couple.

Takanari - he is sweeter IMO. I like the nice guys (most of the time).
 
Man, I need to continue reading SDC. ^^; I am still at Chapter 9. I am slow I know, lol. I am glad you guys like it so far. I hope when the manga ends, it will answer all of your questions. Unfortunately for me, I am ways off.
 
SDC is so good. It really was hard for me to get into at first I restarted the first volume 4 times before I got to the end - but once I got that far I was hooked XD
 
I think I'll give the series another chance... we'll see! :D Also, one of my friends posted a picture and a translation of an entry from Arina's blog; it has info about her next series. You can just read it here.

And I was wondering, has anyone here checked out Koukou Debut? It's one of my current favorites! Definitely a fun read for fans of romance. XD
 
According to this site, SDC ends at chapter 47.

I am reading Koukou Debut! I own Volumes 1-3! I really like it <3
