Jeff is NOTHING like Cena, Jeff is AMAZING >=(

Cena is killing WWE (Get the 'E' out!), they have even changed the name of his finisher now ><

If Jeff is gone for good, then that means there are only 3 wrestlers that I love left and they're veterans in someway or another: Taker, HBK and HHH

Jeff is gone. Jeff. Is. Gone. Gone. Jeff. Jeff Hardy is gone from the WWE. I'm so happy that I can't believe it.

WWE also serious about their wellness policy? Suspending the marketable Mysterio? A shock that they're this serious. Probably pain killers. Or Steroids. Or any PED.

Backstage Details On WWE's Meeting Yesterday Concerning Rey Mysterio
    By Daniel Pena

    source: www.f4wonline.com

WWE officials held a meeting yesterday concerning Rey Mysterio's recent actions and how he will be creatively handled on television.

As noted, there was much internal heat on Mysterio for his Spanish-language interview with The Record in Mexico over the weekend. He did not get the interview approved ahead of time, which is standard company protocol. There was talk that if they didn't punish him, fellow talent could follow suit and bury the company in the future. Back in the WCW days, talent would frequently bury the company without consequence. Unlike WCW, WWE prefers not opening themselves up to that, hence the need for interviews to be approved of.

Whether Mysterio thought he could do a Spanish-language interview to explain himself to fans and potential sponsors in Mexico without it ever reaching the United States remains unknown.

Regarding creative plans for Mysterio dropping the Intercontinental title at tomorrow night's SmackDown taping, Vince McMahon wanted all potential options evaluated. More than likely, it will not be as simple as Dolph Ziggler beating him in a singles match. In fact, because that is the "expected result," you should expect something different to take place on this week's show. However, it likely won't be different enough for it to result in Mysterio not dropping the title.

Mysterio is hopeful he can get his suspension overturned when he discusses the situation with management tomorrow.

WWE Very Unhappy With Mysterio, Possible *Spoiler* On How He Will Drop IC Title
    By Daniel Pena

    source: www.f4wonline.com

WWE officials are said to be very unhappy with Rey Mysterio over comments he made to a Mexican newspaper regarding his recent drug test failure where he said had a prescription for the drug he failed for but was suspended before he could give proof of his prescription.

A number of ideas are being discussed for Tuesday's SmackDown taping in Cleveland including Dolph Ziggler beating him for the Intercontinental title and Ziggler interfering and costing him the title against another wrestler. Although, WWE would have to explain why Ziggler didn't receive the title shot after winning a number one contender's match on last week's episode of Superstars if they go in the latter direction.

More On Rey Mysterio's Heat In WWE, Hoping To Have Suspension Overturned
    By Daniel Pena

    source: PWInsider.com

As reported yesterday, numerous sources within WWE have said there is a lot of heat on Rey Mysterio for doing an interview with a Mexican newspaper explaining his side of his recent suspension. Some within WWE feel Mysterio put himself in a position where the company would have to punish him further or else risk someone else following the same path without consequence. Company protocol is to keep quiet while suspended.

Mysterio worked SmackDown live events over the weekend, losing to World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. The Intercontintal Champion was initially pulled from this past weekend's slate of house shows, but that decision was reversed when WWE opted to start his suspension on Wednesday in order tie up his place on television at tomorrow night's SmackDown taping in Cleveland.

Mysterio has told wrestlers who have asked about the circumstances behind his suspension that he had a legitimate prescription for a painkiller and that WWE didn't give him proper notice and time for his doctor to give them details on said prescription. He told many that he hopes WWE will reconsider his case and overturn his suspension when he personally speaks to management tomorrow.

WWE is pointless now. Seriously, why have it PG??
It ruins all the excitement. And ECW being under WWE management is the worst thing that could have ever happened. There's no point in calling it "Extreme Championship Wrestling" anymore. What happened to the hardcore matches? What happened to all the blood? In my eyes, WWE died when the F changed to E

SmackDown! is turning 10 years-old this Friday night. I remember when Lesnar suplexed the Big Show all those years ago. Good times.

Its a bad thing to see Jeff and Rey (for 30 days) go for some time because the only top babyface we have in Smackdown is The Undertaker

Ugh the whole Hornswoggle and Chavo story is just ridiculous. If i were ever in a ring with that stupid 4 foot midget i'd just want to beat the crap out of him.

WWE Concern With Ticket Sales For Breaking Point PPV
    By Brad Ingles

WWE officials are disappointed with the ticket sales for Breaking Point PPV. There have been around 9,000 tickets sold for the event and there is a major concern within WWE with the PPV being only a week away. This is the first PPV event in Montreal since 2003 (No Way Out) and that event had an attendance of 15,100. Montreal has historically been one of the top wrestling cities in Canada.

Vince Russo "On A Mission" To Have Bigger Stars
    By Brad Ingles

It is being said backstage in TNA that lead writer Vince Russo is "on a mission" to make their top talent such as AJ Styles, Matt Morgan, and Hernandez into bigger stars. Dixie Carter is also said to be a huge fan of those three wrestlers. TNA views Matt Morgan as one of their homegrown talents despite WWE being the company who discovered him.

With Russo having complete creative control, he wants to send a message to younger talent that they are looking to develop new stars. The general feeling backstage is that Russo is more trustworthy than Jeff Jarrett, whom had a reputation for supporting his circle of friends only.

Details On How Rey Mysterio's Suspension Affects Him Financially
    By Brad Ingles
    Sep 5, 2009 - 7:03:50 PM

Rey Mysterio's 30-day suspension for violating the Wellness Policy will cost him $100,000, since he would be missing two PPV events and four weeks of house show events. Mysterio is not expected to return for the Hell in a Cell PPV on October 4 since WWE will not have time to build up a match for him.

Mysterio will be allowed to collect merchandise sales during the suspension, which is a huge revenue source for stars in WWE. It is believed Mysterio earns $1.5 million annually, and a large chunk of that comes from merchandise sales, as he is one of the top sellers in WWE. Mysterio's merchandise sales have always been strong even when he has been out with injuries.

I'm surprised that ticket sales hadn't shown any significant drop before. With the cuts that WWE had to make as well as the other money saving ploys, I thought that something like this wouldve been reported before.

The last couple of PPV buyrates have been pretty bad to. Wrestlemania did not do 1,000,000 buys. That is the success ratio for them. They were not even close.

So they've been hit hard as well. Do you have any specific numbers or is the information just genearally out there?

    https://www.ewrestlingnews.com/stories/WWE_PPV_Buyrate_Numbers_New_ECW_Talent_KofiSS.shtml

Those sites can sum it up pretty good. All down except one.

A interesting comparison, TNA is a private company, and does not release there PPV buy rates. If we go by what is known on the net/reported, the attendance and buy rates for TNA PPV's generally is horrible. There big money maker is the TV shows.

Death rumors result from Bob Barker's WWE RAW appearance
    By Brian Cantor

-- Bob Barker's guest hosting gig on Monday's WWE RAW sparked rumors that the television legend had passed away.

Barker, hardly a frequent subject of Internet gossip, quickly shot to the top of Twitter's "Trending Topics" list, which led those unfamiliar with his RAW appearance to assume the famed former "Price is Right" host had died (a scenario that would have explained the high level of Tweeting).

At press time (12:45AM EST), much of the volume involved Twitter users expressing happiness that Barker had not, in fact, passed on (as was known to those who saw him on RAW). Interestingly, there still were sporadic Tweets from users operating under the incorrect assumption that Barker had suffered an unfortunate death.

Details on a Backstage Altercation Between Two WWE Giants Over the Weekend
    By Amish Patel

    - The full details on this story haven't emerged yet, but two of WWE's biggest superstars, The Great Khali and Big Show, reportedly had an altercation backstage at a SmackDown/ECW live event on Saturday.

The main event on the show featured Matt Hardy, The Undertaker and Khali vs. Big Show, Chris Jericho and CM Punk. When the match ended, Show and Khali brawled outside of the ring together. When they got backstage, there was apparently an argument. One story said Khali botched the finish and Show called him out on it and they started grappling around.

One source said, "Show slipped on someone's bag and it was over." Another report said that after they ended up on the ground, Khali mounted Show and was hitting him with slaps before The Undertaker pulled them apart. Show and Khali were kept away from each other in the ring for the rest of the tour. (Source - F4W Newsletter)

Further Update on Backstage Fight Between Show and Khali
    By Amish Patel

    - In an update to my earlier post, the weekend scuffle between The Big Show and The Great Khali was the talk of the RAW locker room last night.

The Big Show feels certain moves should be exclusive to him given his "giant" tag and there has reportedly been underlying heat between the pair for some time.

As for the incident, Show threw the first punch which was blocked by Khali, then the two went at it until several wrestlers broke it up. As I said earlier, the pair were kept apart for the remainder of the tour.

According to several wrestlers, they believe the blame lies on The Big Show's shoulders for this incident. (Source - PWInsider.com)

Oh God. Well to all of the 13 year old wrestling addicts, WWE and all of the other associations that are connected with Wrestling is fake. To tell you the truth if I wanted to see bad actors and cheap lines then I would just watch a Jessica Alba movie. So, you kids just spend some time testing some wires by sucking on them.. You know, education at it's finest.

Rumor On What Happened To Mickie James Over The Weekend
    By Daniel Pena

-- As reported earlier today, Mickie James peculiarly missed Sunday night's Raw brand house show in Madison, Wisconsin after competing the two previous nights in St. Paul, Minnesota and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was also not used during Monday's Raw taping in Chicago. Partnering with Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly took her place in a tag match on Sunday.

This should be taken with a grain of salt, but a person from the Richmond area claiming to have known James for over ten years e-mailed us to say that she ruptured one of her breast implants in a tag match with Rosa Mendes (and Beth Phoenix) over the weekend. The timetable for her return remains indefinite. Furthermore, the storyline excuse for her absence will be explained as a shoulder injury she suffered during her title defense against Phoenix on last week's show.

WWE Superstars Joke About Last Night's Wardrobe Malfunction On ECW
    By Michael Bluth

As reported earlier, there was a wardrobe malfuction at Tuesday night's ECW on SyFy tapings during Zach Ryder's squash match victory over indy wrestler Rory Fargo. Ryder pulled the front of Fargo's shorts down while throwing him into the corner, giving the fans in attendance an eyefull to say the least. Luckily for WWE, the show was taped and there was enough time to edit the match and cut to a camera angle that did not show Fargo's exposed parts.

However, word got out about the malfunction and several WWE superstars commented on it on Twitter. Zach Ryder, Hurricane Helms and Chris Jericho all took turns making tongue-in-cheek remarks about the situation.

Zack Ryder said, "My opponent was being a little cocky in the ring with me tonight." He later added, "He tried his hardest...he was going BALLS to wall...but he couldn't stop Mr. Woo Woo Woo."

Hurricane Helms responded to Ryder's comments, saying "I mean you did tear a guy's pants off last night! Just sayin!" He later added, "I mean seriously, that match was just NUTS!", "How come nobody told me Balls Mahoney came back to ECW??", "Big Dick Johnson and Naked Mideon are both suing for gimmick infringement!" and "He definitely got some 'exposure.' Maybe he can turn it into a gimmick!"

On Wednesday morning, Chris Jericho joined in on the fun, writing, "Zack Ryder's opponent last night needs to stiffen up and be less genitle in the ring."

Two Major Former WWE Stars Free To Join Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
    By Daniel Pena

Ken Anderson's non-compete clause with World Wrestling Entertainment expired today, thus meaning he is free to negotiate with any wrestling company.

"Something about midnight tonight...can't quite put my finger on it." Anderson wrote yesterday on his Twitter account.

Likewise, Eddie Fatu's (professionally known as "Umaga" in WWE) non-compete clause with WWE expired this past week as well. Fatu was released from his WWE contract on June 8, 2009 after violating the company's drug testing policy a second time and his subsequent refusal to enter a rehabilitation center.
