Continued Information - September 12-13th, 2014

A new trailer has been released following the new reveals this month! Check it out!



In it, the English names of Primal Groudon and Kyogre's abilities were revealed. Groudon's ability is Desolate Land, and Kyogre's is Primordial Sea. They induce permanent weather and negate water and fire moves, respectively. The weather disappears when Primal Groudon/Kyogre is switched out. Also, Primal Groudon's English name for its signature move is Precipice Blades, a Ground type attack. Primal Kyogre's signature move is Origin Pulse, a Water type attack. Both hit multiple opponents.

UPDATE: September 13th, Global Link Info


This new image was revealed of how the Global Link, confirmed compatible with Pokemon Bank, will look aesthetically. There have been some changes in other areas though, like the ability to upload photos you take from a contest, and will keep track of popular secret base areas. It also shows that Rating Battle Season 7 starts and will be compatible with both X & Y and Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire at the same time!

Mega Rayquaza Revealed - October 2nd, 2014

Mega Rayquaza has been revealed! Its initial reveal was during a 7-hour stream and I doubt you guys want to see that so enjoy the more reasonable :57 second trailer. Mega Rayquaza's new ability, Delta Stream, nullifies Flying-type weaknesses, meaning Rayquaza doesn't gain new immunities, but rather loses its Rock- and Electric-type weaknesses while becoming 2x weak to Ice rather than 4x. It also has a new move, Dragon Ascent, that will supposedly be the strongest Flying-type move.

CoroCoro Reveals - October 10th, 2014

This month has brought a plethora of new information, as well as confirmation of some leaks in previous months. Mega Lati@s are confirmed to appear in the games, although we've already seen their designs thanks to a leak of X and Y. There are also two newly confirmed Mega evolutions: Beedrill and Pidgeot. Mega Beedrill is Bug/Poison and gets the ability Adaptability, while Pidgeot remains Normal/Flying and has the ability No Guard after mega evolving.

You can actually ride Mega Lati@s in the overworld and find various legendary Pokemon in the sky like Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga, and Palkia. Latios is OR exclusive and Latias to AR. However, the Eon Ticket is coming back, meaning both Latis can be obtained in their opposite games. The Ticket will be given out through a serial code in a later CoroCoro issue. The main feature of this is that all non-event Legendary Pokemon will be available in this generation, using areas in the sky, through the 'Eon Flute' item. You can also find various other wild pokemon in the clouds.

Finally, the PokeNav is getting some news! The new rendition is called the MultiNavi. It has four settings, MapNavi, TVNavi, PlayNavi which has features such as Amie and the GTS, and finally DexNavi, which assists in finding Pokemon in the wild. Apparently, you can 'sneak up' on pokemon. More information will most likely be coming out regarding this soon.

First and foremost, this is not a news headline. The following information is essentially leaks from the recent released demo of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. As such, not everything is going to be posted here as a ton of it is either technical or something that will be left to discover once the games are released. If you want to spoil yourselves on the more internal workings of Pokemon/items/the games as has been revealed, you should go elsewhere. The Gym Leaders will be reprising their roles from Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire. As such, Wallace has returned as the 8th Gym Leader of Sootopolis City. Tate and Liza's order has also been switched, so their entity is to be referred to as "Liza and Tate." Furthermore, the Battle Frontier is not returning, but the "Battle Resort" will be featured. It's unknown what this is.

There are new moves:

Origin Pulse - Water Special, 85%, 110 BP, 10 PP
Precipice Blades - Ground Physical, 85%, 120 BP, 10 PP
Dragon Ascent - Flying Physical, 100%, 120 BP, 5 PP
Hyperspace Fury - Dark Special, 101%, 100 BP, 5 PP
