We here at PC's Social Media Team are looking to grow our ranks?and we'd like you to be involved in the team!
We're looking for dedicated, active members from all over the community who would be interested in working for our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube platforms.

This is the main way to bring specific community content to our team's attention. From there it is received in our Buzz panel and Social Media Staff will then look through to decide when and if the content should be promoted on our platforms, prioritizing important content (such as newly-revealed Sun & Moon Pok?mon) as needed.
You will also be responsible for planning events on your platform, such as quizzes, and thinking up of your own unique content to promote. Remember: We highly encourage buzzing unique content. Found a cute part of a Japanese Pok?mon ending song you'd like to make into a .gif and spread the word about? Try it! The social media team is still growing and we are doing our best to promote more unique content and less links to threads. The following (1, 2, & 3) are good examples of fun, interesting buzz posts.
Lastly, you will be required to involve yourself in discussions related to your platform in the Social Media Staff Lounge. Here is where our team comes together to plan events, look at and discuss statistics, or just keep up with what their fellow team members are doing.
YouTube
YouTube team members will be mainly responsible for creating video content, editing videos, and be willing to collaborate with other YouTube team members to record videos. This means that you will mostly be working in a team environment and would need a good quality mic as well as experience editing video content through video editing programs such as Final Cut or Adobe Premiere.
We understand that this is a volunteer position and do not ask for impeccable experience or talent?just some knowledge and ability editing is great. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet other content creators and further your skills as an editor and content creator.
We will also ask you to please upload consistently. There are currently no requirements for how many videos you need to contribute per month as the amount of time and editing that goes into each video can vary but we request you engage yourself in content creation and do your best to stay involved in the team.
Note that all channel videos should be rated PG.

As a Facebook or Twitter team member we request you look through this panel often and use your best judgment on whether the content should be promoted on your platform. You will have to write up the promotion post as well as include relevant images if you feel any would fit, avoiding fanart as much as possible and crediting all fan content creators if their work is used (while respecting any fan content creators who ask that their works not be used even with credit).

Because this is a PC Staff position there will be a selection process and a discussion on each interested candidate. We will be evaluating each applicant's forum activity, demeanor, and perceived ability to do the job applied for. For this reason part of your application includes the submission of examples of the type of work you would be contributing to the team (see applications for details).

When is the deadline?
We'll continue accepting applications until we find enough fitting applicants to bring onto the team, so that could range from a few days to a few weeks (or possibly longer). For that reason it's best to get your applications in as soon as possible!
Final notes:
We are currently actively seeking Social Media Staff for Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. There is no telling what team members we'll need in the future, though, so if you don't get selected this time around... you're not out of the running forever.
