You can only have one element, so you'll have to pick one or the other. In addition, I'm afraid your Water spell isn't a Water spell; the name of each element is quite literal—Water Magic is simply water oriented, which does not include healing in any way. The wind spells you listed are off to a decent start, but they need
much more detail than you have at the moment—they're way too vague. Ferromancers (metal mages) can create bullets and fire them off faster than a gun; they can make flying swords, and geomancers can throw boulders. What kind of "projectiles" is a magic cloak supposed to repel? A monkey throwing mangoes? How high of a drop is considered "moderately painful" when an aeromancer can levitate, pyromancers can propel themselves on flames, hydromancers can soften their landing, and geomancers and ferromancers can wear armor? There's nothing static or definitive about your spells.
Your character's appearance leaves
a lot of unanswered questions, it's unrealistic, and it's inconsistent with his history (which has its own problems). This RP takes place on modern Earth, which also means you have to change his last name. No one is going to be named "Dragonwind". You're not going to have natural blue hair, and if you're living your entire life on an island, you shouldn't be able to out-pale an albino. Why is he four feet tall at fourteen years old? Unless he's a dwarf (the actual medical term for the condition, seriously), he should be roughly five feet tall, and the "long leg" description really contradicts his height. Where do any of his possessions come from, like the glasses and earring? Continuing with the consistency of the roleplay occurring on modern Earth, the redundancy of your character's glasses is... well, redundant. Either the character needs glasses or he doesn't.
On the personality, he should currently have no social skills
whatsoever. How could he have possibly socialised? Where did he learn to speak
any language, or how to even talk? How does he know how to cook if the only thing he ever ate was mangoes? How does he know how to make medicine? These are all inconsistencies, and you need to make connections.
His history is the most problematic, though, and there are nothing but more questions. He lived his entire life on an uncharted island, invisible (for no viable reason) to anyone that isn't already there. Why was he orphaned? How did he end up on an island that doesn't exist? How does anyone know
he exists? What kind of animals would possibly live there? How does he have any sense of economics (selling anything of value) when he spent his entire life on an island no one knows exists? Where did that scab come from?
And the most important question: How did he not
die? (Sadly, we will not accept "the animals on the island took care of him.")
There are quite a few holes and contradictions, and honestly, a lot of changes need to be made before Anthony can be accepted. Finally, judging by the size of the SU, it feels like you may face difficulty keeping up with the rest of the players, and you might have problems making sure your posts are consistent.
If you really want to join Vale, you'll have to at least make these changes:
- You can only use one element (meaning Water or Wind), and they need elaboration; a concrete description as to what they can and cannot do. Elements are also taken pretty literally. Water magic does not mean healing magic. It pertains strictly to water and other fluids; nothing else, not even ice.
- His appearance and personality need to be consistent with his history.
- Please change his name to something that would exist in the modern world (again, the RP takes place on Earth in the early 21st century), rather than fantasy.
- His location (and therefore his entire history) needs to be changed. As I've said, it may be a magic RP, but it still takes place on normal, boring Earth, and a deserted, non-existent island means never seeing other human beings.
- Use the five Ws when remaking your signup to make sure there aren't any inconsistencies or holes. Who, what, when, where, why and how. Ask yourself about everything you're typing.
To be completely frank, I don't know if you'd want to just try and change it, because by the time you're done, for better or worse, Anthony isn't going to be anything like he is now, and you may not like the result.
I'm also going to suggest that you try joining an RP that doesn't have such heavy or exacting standards, like the
Pokémon Trainer Academy. Chances are you'll find it much more fun, as well. (Not saying Vale isn't fun, but PTA has more active players, and Yellow is a lot nicer than me, so it might be easier to make some friends.)
