This one is for Peaches:
Most of my recent avatars/sigs had elements that look male, this caused many new users (assuming they don't read the details in the top right of the post) to think that I'm male on all parts of me other than the username. When a new user checks my profile, the blue coloring makes them think I'm male, not knowing the blue is actually based on Oshawott.
A post in this thread mentioned "they think you're a male fan of Dawn". I mean, that literally made me LOL, but then again I do genderbend my avatars/sigs a lot. The last time I used a female theme was Mei back when B2/W2 was just revealed and the news was coming in. Since I haven't used a female theme since April I think many new users are thinking I am male. I have seen a few members pretending to be the opposite gender, and it is kinda funny that there's an emblem given to those who pretend to not be their real gender.
In fact, I know some new users often ask me questions as to why I have such unusual avatars/sigs but I can recall one where they literally asked if I was really male. I told that user (not going to mention) that I am female. But yeah, it comes to show if you're a female using male-based avatars/sigs (or a male using female-based avatars/sigs) you just know how quirky you are. That is why I have a Quirky nature as my PC nature, cos I'm just literally unusual.
I don't know if I was asked about my profile colors yet, but I bet some new users never noticed it was based on Oshawott.
