  • Vanilluxe hands down. It...wait, they. It has two heads. Um. Right. Vanilluxe catches as much salt as a salted caramel chocolate bar for being 5th gen and having a limited coverage pool, but what little it does it does real good. Not much can survive a Modest Vanilluxe's Blizzard or Freeze Dry! Plus it's unusually adorable and I have one on my team!

  • Shell Smash Cloyster gets my vote. I've certainly won with it far more than any other ice-type Pokemon in recent times.

  • Well, another week of voting has concluded here in the FPT, and for the long time followers of the tournament, this was definitely an interesting one to watch!

There was quite a shift at the top of the polls this year, with our eventual winner Glaceon running away with the votes, despite finshing in a tie for 5th place last year. On the other side of the coin, last year's champions Sneasel and Weavile didn't even come close to a repeat, as they finished in a distant 8th place. That's why we do these polls every year, because you never know what could change in that time!

If you haven't already, be sure to go check out the results of the Steel type poll, and then be back here in Pokemon General tomorrow for another week here in the FPT!

  • Hard to believe that Glaceon, the fifth placer last year has now won its type's poll, while Weavile finished only eighth after winning last year. Shows how preferences change over a year, but nice to see Glaceon win! Probably to make up for Sylveon losing to a certain majestic Alola Form.
